This accommodation is not only utterly wonderful and unique, but it offers so much nature and space to enjoy on the property. We definitely would want to return to enjoy swimming in the river and chilling on the deck! The BBQ and gas firepit are great addition to the glamping experience!

Wonderful experience

My 8 year daughter and I stayed for 3 nights, our second summer at the Airstream.Very comfortable beds, everything you could need for cooking and dining.Beautiful swimming spot, lots of fun creatures to observe (frogs, snakes, ducks, otters).Lots of privacy and space to read and lay lawn games Also Rob and Sandy are so kind and cheerful!

We couldnā€™t ask for a better stay at Rob and Sandyā€™s property. It was a tranquil river oasis the weather was beautiful. The setting was incredible. The amenities were fantastic. Best outdoor shower comfiest Bed and just a 10 out of 10 stay

Verblijven in deze airstreamer uit 1965 is voor niet kampeerders een avontuur.Het op maat gemaakte bed ligt fantastich. De plek is fabelachtig mooi vrijwel direct aan de rivier.Natuurlijk voldoet een caravan uit 1965 niet geheel aan de eisen van deze tijd maar de eigenaren blijven het verbeteren zoals de aanleg van een buitendouche en buitenkeuken.

Gorgeous Lakeside Spot, But Security Was a Concern

The lakeside location was absolutely beautiful peaceful, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. The Airstream had charm, the space was too compact for someone tall (6' 1"). It was uncomfortable for moving around or sleeping. My main concern was the inability to lock the door when we were away. The host didnā€™t provide a key, so we couldnā€™t secure our belongings when leaving the property, which was unsettling. Itā€™s a great spot for a nature getaway, but having a way to lock up your things would make a big difference in peace of mind.

Rob and Sandy were great hosts. The Airstream was well equipped. Bed was queen size and comfy. The outside kitchen with BBQ was great. The rental was very private and quiet, located on the shores of the river. Our only challenge was poor cell phone service. We would come again. A lovely holiday. Thank you Rob and Sandy.

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful property on the banks of the Cowichan river with lovely flowers in bloom and easy access for a chilly dip in the river! The air stream was very comfortable and warm, everything that I needed for a short getaway.

Peace tranquility

It was so very peaceful, the sound of the river the wildlife was beautiful. The Hosts are extremely courteous and and accepting of our reactive dog. Its a beautiful place lots to do around the area. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing getaway

Hosts were welcoming and friendly! When we saw them, they felt familiar and were lovely to chat to. The stay was a beautiful recharge in a stunning setting. We swam as much as we possibly could and now have a new motto that essentially boils down to the fact that we wonā€™t buy property if itā€™s not on a river. The bed was comfy, pillows were perfect (I have some in my online shopping cart now) and the space was clean. They have a beautiful pup and possibly an orange kitty - both of whom I fell in love with instantly. Lovely setting, lovely hosts, perfect vacation!

Great for relaxation!

Property is quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained. Enjoyed the sounds of the river, the deck and swimming hole, and relaxing by the fire (propane) in the evenings. Great location for accessing the river in different spots, the lake, and Duncan. Very comfortable bed and pillows, wish I always slept that well. Highly recommend. Hope to be back.

An oasis on the river

Rick and Sandy were amazing hosts, Sandy made us scones from freshly picked berries as well as crumble, such a sweet gesture. It felt very private even though we were on the same property. They had all kinds of fun stuff to do and lots of floaties for the river. We had our very own swimming area. We spent a week here and 5 of those days was on the water. Perfect location and very quiet. We loved our stay.

Beautiful Grounds, Well-Equipped Trailer

We had a wonderful time at this property. The hosts were super nice (including Hazel the dog), the trailer was clean and well-equipped, and the grounds are gorgeous. The trailer is located near some beautiful hikes. The hosts provided some little boats to float around in the river. We had a fantastic time.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Airstream which is in amazing shape for its age. Very comfortable, great little shower and all the amenities we needed to enjoy a week away. The property is situated right on the river, deep in the lush forest.we will definitely be going back!

A favorite vacation!

Rob and Sandy were the nicest hosts we could ask for - they were super accommodating, and extremely patient with us as we learned our lessons with not making a ferry reservation! We loved staying here and enjoying the river, especially along side their sweet pup Hazel who weā€™ll miss so much! Will definitely be back in the future.
