"There is nothing fancy about the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. We had one small problem with the diverter not working in the shower in the morning but...

"The house was exactly as it was listed. Very homey and comfortable. We did have trouble finding the house at first as we couldn’t see the house number very easily, but the gentleman working on the house next door was super friendly and helpful. The house was just a 10 minute walk to Main St which was very convenient. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Lake Placid!"
