A weekend at Bernie's! Welcome to our luxurious mountain retreat! Nestled in the mountains overlooking Lake Arrowhead, this beautifully remodeled home offers amazing lake views and modern finishes throughout. The open floor plan and plenty of windows provide the perfect setting to relax in nature and unwind in style. With 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The home includes two backlit luxury fireplaces and a hot tub for 8.
The Space:
The open-concept floor plan leads to a beautifully designed kitchen that comes fully equipped with black granite countertops, plenty of cabinet storage for snacks, a Nespresso machine, stainless steel appliances, a high-end chef's range, and all the kitchen basics, including plates, glassware, and silverware. The kitchen also boasts an oversized island with a marble waterfall countertop and seating for 6, perfect for entertaining large groups. The dining room is directly next to the kitchen with a large wooden table that can seat 6 additional guests.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a living room large enough for you and your guests to all relax and unwind. Here you will a luxurious translucent quartzite stone fireplace that you will not find anywhere else in Lake Arrowhead (except in the master bedroom of course). The floor-to-ceiling quartzite stone is completely backlit and surrounds a top-of-the-line fireplace. You'll find a 70” 4K TV with Chromecast and Bose soundbar so you can easily connect to all of your favorite shows and entertainment. The double-door glass sliders lead to the oversized deck with breathtaking lake views. The deck is home to plenty of outdoor furniture including Adirondack chairs and chaise loungers. This is the perfect place for everyone to hang out during the summer or the winter.
The first floor also has a full laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer. This room was finished with the same stone countertops as the kitchen and marble backsplash. Additionally, the first floor has a beautiful half-bath adorned with green tile and gold accents.
On the lower level, the owner's suite has a king-sized bed and a 70” 4K TV with Chromecast with Bose soundbar. This room also has the same luxurious translucent quartzite stone fireplace, backlight floor-to-ceiling, and a top-of-the-line fireplace unit that is found in the living room. The double-door glass sliders lead to the back patio. Here you will find some Adirondack rocking chairs to relax and a hot tub for 8 to unwind after a long day of exploring the area. Joining the owner's suite is an oversized ensuite bathroom with double showerheads, rain showerheads, a tub with massage jets, and heated floors! This bathroom has a dual vanity and plenty of space to do makeup or get ready for an evening out.
The junior guest suite on the lower level features many of the same amenities as the owner's suite. Here you will find a king-sized bed, a large closet, and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has heated floors and a rain shower head.
On the top floor, you will find three additional bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms share a private balcony with Adirondack chairs and some of the best views in the entire house. These rooms both have queen beds. The third bedroom on this level has a queen-sized pull-out couch that doubles as a game room with a retro arcade machine and foosball.
All the rooms on the top floor share a luxurious bathroom that beautiful handmade green porcelain tile, natural wood tones, and a rain-head shower. This floor also has a second living room with a 70" 4K TV with Chromecast and a Bose soundbar. The extra large couch leaves plenty of room for seating and hanging out. This living room has some of the largest windows in the house for the best-unobstructed views of the lake. Open the glass slider door and step out to the last outside deck with the best view of the lake or the stars late at night.
Relax and enjoy the spacious private outdoor spaces located all over the house. Read a book on one of the private decks or grab a drink and enjoy the large hot tub with color-changing LED lights as you soak in the views of the surrounding lake and mountains in the distance.
Additional features include central AC, a washer/dryer, memory foam mattresses, high-speed Wi-Fi, and two luxurious fireplaces. All linens and towels are provided for you. Close to Lake Arrowhead downtown, restaurants, golf courses, hiking trails, day spas, the lake, ski areas, and much more!
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house, garage, decks, and backyard including the hot tub.
Unfortunately, Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and guests will not have access to the lake or the beach clubs. This policy is set by the Arrowhead Lake Association and will be the same for all short-term rentals. However, Lake Gregory is only a short 15-minute drive away. Here you will have access to the beach club, the water park, and the walking trails!
The Neighborhood:
Bernie's mountain retreat is located in a quiet neighborhood above Lake Arrowhead. We do our best to be neighborly and friendly to those around us. Please do your best to enjoy your stay but be mindful of the neighbors and be respectful of noise and light, especially in the evenings.
Other Things to Note:
• A $500 damage security deposit will be collected before your stay. After a successful stay, this money will be returned to you. This security deposit will not be returned in the event of damage to the property, a citation/warning issued by San Bernardino County, or smoking that takes place anywhere on the property (inside or outside).
• If a citation is issued during your stay, it will be the guest’s responsibility to pay the associated fine. The owner of this property would like you to have the best time possible during your stay but would like to stress that this is not a party home and should be treated as if it were your own. Each guest is expected to act as good a neighbor would.
• Street parking is strictly prohibited. Per San Bernardino County regulations, no more than three cars can be parked at the property at one time. [1 Garage Space, 2 Driveway Spaces]
• No smoking or vaping is allowed on the property. If this rule is broken, you will forfeit your security deposit.
• Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and will not be availible for short term renters. However, Lake Gregory is a short 15-minute driveaway and renters can access the beach club, trails, and water park.
• No pets allowed.
• No glitter is allowed in the house. If this rule is broken, an additional $250 cleaning fee will be added to your stay.
• An additional fee may be applied for early check-in or late check-out and is subject to availability
Interaction with Guests:

After booking, we will ask for your direct email to handle the correspondence for the next 3 items:
1) Scanned Copy or Photo of your ID. San Bernardino County Vacation Rental Ordinance states that the minimum age of a renter is 25. You must be 25 or older by the arrival date. The county requires that we verify this outside whatever marketing or booking platform is used so you will be asked to supply us with a scanned image of your ID directly after booking.
2) Guest Roster Signed by all guests staying at the property with acknowledgment of reading the Good Neighbor Brochure. San Bernardino County Vacation Rental Ordinance states that we must receive a guest roster for each reservation and that each guest signs a statement of the rules and regulations. You will receive the required documentation to sign via DocuSign shortly after booking.
3) Each adult guest will also be required to sign a limited liability waiver, before check-in.
