"We really enjoyed Casa Mariposa. Perfect for a couple. Good location with several good restaurants within a mile or two. The Starlight Theatre, Bar and Grill has amazing food, and we caught some great live music when there. The bed was really comfortable, which is a must after a full day of hiking. The A/C's cranked, which is also a must. I was concerned that we would be too far from the good hiking, but that was not true. We were within 30 min to 1 hour of the best hiking in the park. "We had a lovely stay in this little bungalow. It had everything you need for a visit. We visited both BBNP and the state park nearby (don't forget to visit that). A little coffee maker to brew some coffee was wonderful as an afternoon pick-me-up after a long morning of hiking, along with a mini-fridge to hold the basic necessities. "Loved this place. It’s incredibly safe and cozy for being off grid. I was a bit nervous being off grid, but this property has other guests that stay in their own buildings… it felt like a little village. The room itself was so comfortable, clean and exactly what we needed. There were TONS of stars at night and stunning sunrises in the morning. Could not recommend more. We will be back. "

"This property was gorgeous! I worried we would be “roughing it” here but that wasn’t the case at all. It was clean and welcoming with satellite TV, cool AC and comfortable bedding. Plus a nice bathroom which is important. The view out the front porch can’t be beat! I love that they are dog friendly as we were traveling with our police dog. This was a quiet property and the other guests were all friendly. I hope to come back here one day soon. "
