Escape into this remodeled 1929 cottage with an expansive garden, ocean views from nearly every room on a corner lot at the top of the street leading to the entrance of Laguna Beachā€™s famous 1000 Steps Beach. A spacious and beautiful garden offers a myriad of flowers, trees and plants. The master bedroomā€™s king bed with private deck and second bedroomā€™s queen size bed both overlook the ocean. A full kitchen provides an ocean view deck with table for morning coffee to enjoy dawn over the ocean. A large furnished patio and 5 burner grill is perfect for outdoor cooking and dining. The expansive, multi-level garden is surrounded by a wide variety of flowers, trees and vegetation where you can enjoy Laguna Beach sunsets. Step back to the tranquility of the 1930's close many of California's most beautiful Beaches, Parks, Hiking Trails, Mountain Biking, Art Shows and Exhibits, World Class Restaurants, Shops, Bars and Entertainment. A fun little property on a steep hill above Thousand Steps Beach. One very small bath. Delightful garden and a view of the ocean from the kitchen deck and bedrooms. Comfortable beds and adequately furnished. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Laguna retreat

Excellent space centrally located off PC HWY. You are surrounded by lush green patios which draw you outside for meals and conversation. 1000 steps beach is directly across the street from the neighborhood which was perfect for teens. Absolute must for Laguna travels.

Quiet and quaint place with amazing view

My friend and I loved our stay. Check-in was easy, no issues. Location was wonderful / just a quick walk to one of the most pretty beaches. Easy access to the free trolley. Very quiet neighborhood which was nice. Among beautiful homes. Backyard is awesome! It was a bit cool while here, so I did not get to enjoy the backyard as much as I wanted. The hummingbird nest and hummingbirds hanging around was such a nice treat. They had all the amenities we needed.

South Laguna Rental

We spent our holiday at this rental and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is on top of a small hill with views of the ocean from the kitchen window and kitchen balcony. It had all the necessary Amini ties for a family of four. It is in walking distance to the 1000 steps beach. It is actually 206 steps down to beach front. It is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Laguna yet close Enough to drive or take the trolley which has a stop down the hill from the house. Just a block away there is an acquaint shopping center and a Gleason grocery storeā€¦..a bit over priced but fantastic quality. I would stay at this property again and Alexandra was very responsive.

Return to Beach Cottage

Having enjoyed our previous stay at this classic and comfortable cottage, we decided to rent it again for our annual visit to Laguna Beach. It was a familiar neighborhood and a starting point for the various activities we had planned. The highlights were the beautiful garden and balconies. We canā€™t wait until next year!

Great Property

This was a great home to stay at for our family at four. We had everything we needed in regards to cooking and beach supplies. The host was extremely communicative. Our kids loved using the boogie boards, and my husband loved having the umbrella to relax in the shade when needed. The driveway is definitely steep, and we were a little nervous to go down it all the way, so we pretty much stayed halfway at the top and halfway to the side of the street for parking. The gardens are so beautiful! It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The walk to thousand steps beach is not too bad. Very challenging though coming back up. You definitely donā€™t want to bring too much stuff you have to carry on the way back.

We have visited Laguna Beach several times and stayed in resorts, condos and this charming beach cottage. This has been the best so far. Great garden to relax in, sunsets from the porch, ocean views, very comfortable beds and nicely equipped kitchen. Walk to Thousand Steps, Table Rock and West St beaches!

Enchanting Beach Cottage

We enjoyed how unique and quaint the cottage and garden are and how close the property is to one of the most beautiful beaches in Laguna. It isnā€™t luxurious, but definitely magical in its own way. We were pleased with our stay overall.
