"Pros: Beautiful 15th century estate, renovated in most parts, nice staff, beautiful garden and outdoor pool, comfy beds, spacious bathroom. Many spots to relax by tall trees and enjoy the garden. All doors have security codes and the whole area feels very safe. Cons: Presence of Spiders and Mosquitos as expected from an estate in the middle of a garden, the restaurant needs a booking in advance and you can not just show up and that is understandable too, breakfast is good but not many options. "

"The hotel is the center of the village thus not accessible by car, though you can park about 3min away. Our apartment was on a second floor with no elevator and very quirky decorated. Not the best window shades and the church (with its bell) is quite close. The breakfast was rather simple but then again inexpensive. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and included a reasonable discount. All in all a good small hotel."

"We had never stayed at Lake Como before and had only really heard of Como and Belaggio. Our daughter helped us select the Pilissy Guest House, primarily due to its position on the Lake Como Greenway. We are big walkers and it was appealing that we could visit several towns by foot. This place was PERFECT for us. Not only was it well situated, but the owner and property managers provided immediate responses to our questions. And the views were unparalleled. If you want to stay in the middle...

"It was an absolutely splendid experience. We rented a boat to use from Click&Boat website. I highly recommend doing that as well. Driving a car in Como is not as pleasurable as driving a boat! Thank you again Sergio for memories of a lifetime."
