"Overall we had a great stay, we enjoyed the trails that are right on the doorstep for hiking. When we arrived the house was freezing, it took a little to heat it up as it is such a big home. When it was warm it was so cosy and nice. The house was perfect for our large gathering, and it was clean and very well appointed. We had some issues with doors sticking and even a couple of our guests getting locked into their rooms. The master ensuite had no hot water despite running the water for 10 mins...

"The place was very nice and private. The place was really clean except for the spare blankets and sheets.They were missed by the staff from the last stay I assume and were quite dirty. They had a washer/dryer so had to do a load upon arrival but it's the off-season so most likely overworked cleaners. Anyways the place was clean and lovely. Would definitely go back! "

"This is a special place, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this unique private getaway. Loved being surrounded in trees, peaceful and beautiful. "We stay here every year , sometimes twice a year. The property is very pretty, quiet and cozy. The cabin has everything you need and the tub truly makes your skin feel amazing. Mellisa the property manager goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and she remembers us every time, leaving a sweet note on our papers for us when we come in late. "A nice quiet getaway on an artistic island! The owners have a model railway on site that they are proud to show, as well as the Inner Healing Sound Spa. My wife and I enjoyed both events. The island is beautiful and easy to drive around. Lots of crafts and artists. A few minor things could be updated on the property, however all in all it was very satisfactory. "

"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property with its trees and views of the nearby lake. A lovely cottage with good size beds and lounger. There was an efficient, well-equipped kitchen though we mostly barbecued and ate outside in the picnic area under the trees and open sky.
