"Clean, cozy, well decorated property in a mature, quiet neighborhood. "

"We had so much fun at this cute and peaceful home! The location was perfect for hiking and exploring the nearby parks. Starved Rock was great but we loved Matthessien State Park. We had everything we needed and our dogs loved the fenced in yard and special treats the owner left, The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We would definitely stay again,"

"Wonderful stay at the Cottage Charm. Plenty of room for the four of us, everything was clean, the attention to detail was awesome. Every time I messaged the owner, I heard back very quick. We had no troubles finding the place, getting in, or with anything in the house. We would definitely stay here again and so should you!"

"This was the perfect location for our goal to unplug and get into nature for a long weekend with all the hiking and nature nearby. The house was roomy and had everything we needed to cook and relax and spend time together. Elaine was the perfect host. The property was spotlessly clean. All the little details were appreciated. "

"We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house was clean and well stocked, there were even amenities for our pups like bowls, pick up bags, treats and toys! It's so hard to find a property that takes larger dogs, but this was not a problem here. The fenced yard was perfect for late night let outs and running around. The location is perfect for accessing Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks with a very useful write up of different hikes at Starved Rock provided in our welcome materials....

"Clean room, comfortable beds and bedding. The bathroom was larger than most and the full kitchen was a plus! I liked having central air conditioning instead of the loud units that are normally in hotel rooms. The place was very quiet but it also wasn’t super crowded when we were there. A 5 minute drive to the racetrack which was convenient for our stay. We didn’t use the pool or any amenities so I can’t speak about those but the room was nice!"

"I totally love our stay at this cabin !! It was better than what pictures show , feels right at home and has everything you could possibly need , very comfortable , spacious and clean . Also a very convenient location . The communication with Martin was great he is very attentive and helpful. Thank you so much for being an awesome host !! "

"Stayed at this gem for 2 nights, it was close to a family members wedding in Tonica. Just a lovely place, has everything you need. Great nights sleep, it was so quiet. I would go back if we are ever out that way again."

"Gorgeous property and home. Sparkling clean, everything from the grounds to the counters to the linens. They have really invested a lot into the maintenance and luxury of this VRBO yet somehow it still feels like a place where you are encouraged to unwind and relax. The owners were responsive and accommodating. The rental is priced fair for the area. You are close to what you need but it’s set far back and on a private lot against the water so you feel like you are in the cozy woods. We had a...
