I have stayed at this property before, and was eager to stay again. The property is spotlessly clean and well-maintained, but the best part of the property is the location. In the foothills of the La Sal Mountains, the location is isolated, beautiful, quiet, and peaceful: a much needed respite from the craziness of this year. My mom and I played with the idea of spending a whole day of our vacation doing nothing other than lounging around the cabin, but there were so many great things to see and do in the area that we missed that opportunity.
Be aware that the cabin is located a good drive up an isolated road from Moab. This is a bonus as far as I'm concerned, as I hate crowds of people even in normal years, and the road is well-maintained, but it may be too far out in the boonies for some people. Again, the isolation and distance from town is totally what I love the most about the property.
The property is currently for sale, which hurt my heart to see, but I hope new ownership in the future continues to maintain and rent out the cabins as I would love to stay again in the future!
