House rules and notes:

-4 person overnight maximum - No Exceptions
-Noise restrictions 10pm-7am

-This rental is located on floor 2 and requires the use of one flight of stairs
-Parking note: There is unassigned parking for one vehicle
-Pool towels are available for use
-Pull out Queen sleeper sofa in living room area allows for 4 people overnight
-Cable TV available on 2 TVs. Stream your own device using your own account.
-Workspace, Desk and chair for remote work
-Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.
- Camera and noise monitoring on-site

Notice: There is one actively recording camera at the front entry door and rear garage door which actively records audio and video. There is also a smart device located in the home main living room area that actively records noise decibel levels. It does not record audio or video. There are no devices in the private areas of the home.
Renters are advised that the following rules will be strictly enforced and fines will be charged without exception.

Age: Renters must be 21 years old or older.

Unit capacity: This unit is licensed for 4 overnight guest maximum and 6 guests during the day hours. Do not violate the unit maximum policy, The City of La Quinta sets these rules and they do enforce them and issue fines. Building Residents see who comes and goes and are aware of a unit that has too many people.

Noise Disturbance: The City of La Quinta allows citizens to call a 24 hour short term rental hotline to report noise violations and other disturbances outlined here and in the house manual. The City fines range from $500-$5000.

Fines: Failure to comply with house rules may result in fines and or expulsion from the property immediately. If a fine is issued they range from $500 to $5000 per violation. The Renter WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL FINES!

Quiet Hours: 10pm to 7am: Please be aware of your noise after these hours. A electronic decible noise monitor is installed in each rental unit. Tampering with the noise monitor will incur and automatic $500 fine.
*Any continuous noise above 85 decibels will alert the property manager. If you violate the noise policies you may be required to leave the premises immediately and you will be responsible for any noise or disturbance fines outlined above.

Do not loiter in the building parking lot and talk or play music late at night. This will also generate a noise ordinance fine between $500-$5000.

Music: No sound amplified devices (including powered speakers, radios, karaoke machines etc.) or musical instruments that could be heard outside your rental unit. Please keep music to an acceptable level within the rental unit.

The Condo Unit is governs by the Santa Rosa Plaza Home Owners Association rules and bylaws and the City of La Quinta regulations so please be responsible. No Parties!

Smoking, Vaping or Chewing Tobacco are strictly prohibited in or around the condo unit. Any violation will result in a fine and additional cleaning fees. No smoking i patios or working 50 feet of the building. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only and please do not leave discarded cigarette butts in our lawn or landscaping areas. Properly dispose of your trash. VIOLATIONS AND FINES WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RENTER.

On-site Parking: There is free on-site parking for 2 vehicles. No semi trucks, buses, trailers or RVs allowed.

Pets: Pets are allowed with a deposit and additional cleaning fee so our unit remains clean for non pet owners. Please pick up your pet waste and do not let pets poop on walkways or in the landscaping.

Please use common sense and don’t break the rules. We do not want to bother our renter but we will and we are required to maintain a orderly rental. We will remove you with no refund.

Pool Hours: 7am- 10pm. There is a pool key to open the gate. Pool towels are in the unit closet. If you lose the pool key there is a $150 replacement fee. So not party by the pool after hours this will obviously incur a noise violation fine.

Additional Fees: The City of La Quinta and other city’s in the area impose a 11% TOT ( Transient Occupancy Tax ) and this tax is in addition to sales tax, booking and cleaning fees you pay.

Now that we have the rules set, please have a great time in La Quinta and the surrounding area. This area is rich with history and fun activities.

So disappointed
I have tried to call a few times to chat with you but to no avail. I’m not someone who complains often but when I’m unhappy, I prefer to chat directly with the individual instead of providing public reviews - I am a president of a company and I treat others how I would like to be treated. Unfortunately you’ve given me no other choice. I’m saddened by that. We travel at least o once a year to Palm Springs and usually stay in Indio. This time, we thought we would try something different. I must say this has been the worst rental experiences have had on Palm Springs. To begin with, we didn’t receive a welcome email with any information for check in, address, instructions etc. I had to beg for the address and entry code by sending multiple texts. The list of unacceptable items was much too long to pass as too busy because of the fires - there was no access out entire stay to the pool or hot tub, the ice maker didn’t function and despite being told twice that a repair person was on their way, no one showed up, there was no hot water, the dishwasher malfunctioned and water poured out of the overflow spout and all over the counter, there were no linens for the pull out couch - we had to place the only thing on the condo - a duvet cover - on the mattress and cover my son in both robes. There was no bow dryer, no body soap, no glasses, light bulbs missing from the lamps… I could go on but I won’t. I would love the opportunity to chat about this with you if y
