"The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. "September 6-8, we had a great time at Roger's cabin. We came specifically to take the train ride in Cass. The cabin was very nice, clean, comfortable, roomy, had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch which had a gate to keep our dog from wandering. Also had a zip line leash for dogs, and water bowls. We noticed no fire wood there, so we didn't use the fire pit. Perhaps because it's been so dry there. We had some confusion about which driveway was the correct cabin, but...

"Spiral stairs are narrow. Use caution at top. Beautiful location and great host. Perfect for a quiet escape with family. "

"We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this place was exceptional from the cleanliness to the atmosphere! Our fur babies loved playing in the creek! We loved the fire pits and the hot tub! This home is in a world of its own! No noise from the world just a peaceful, relaxing vacation!"

"Cabin was great for our family vacation. We enjoyed the river and fire pit. It fit the description of the listing and was exactly as we expected. We would definitely return!"

"Such a cute cabin, close to the road but feels like it's secluded in the woods. Went for a little Dad and daughters trip with my little dog and it was perfect for us. Cabin was very comfortable - had plenty of dishes to cook, beds were super comfortable, shower was nice and hot. The property is big and we were able to explore around the yard, have bonfires, and cook on the grill. Will definitely be coming back to stay next time I need a little getaway."

A few notes: we were short on the number of bath towels initially but found the extra bath towels in the dryer. Unfortunately they had sat wet in the dryer and were musty-requiring washing before being used.The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items for the most part but there were no pot holders which would have come in handy with the countertop oven—there was only one dish towel. "Exactly as described. Very comfortable beds, very clean, perfectly and meticulously maintained. The game room was fantastic. Propane ran out on outside FP and was replaced immediately. Very responsive, I’d stay here again and the host was amazing in her communication! One issue is parking…there is only room for one vehicle and it’s not much room, the driveway is less than 5ft long.
