The room was able to comfortably sleep 6 and had 2 large couches if required. The room was very spacious, air conditioning worked well and had everything they needed, it is just quite old and in need of a reno. "I would suggest that the fridge in room 217 be turned up a little. I left a glass of water in it overnight and it was mostly frozen in the morning. Luckily, my medication (insulin) did not freeze."

"The actual stay and room were great, with a comfortable bed, good air-conditioning and toiletries supplied. Thought there might have been some noise as we were in a room next to the stair-well. Fortunately, with the air-conditioner in use, we didn't hear a thing. Shower pressure was good after working out that the hot water tap was on the right rather than the left. Check-in took a while as there was no-one in the office and we rang the bell 3 times. (We were there at 2:10 pm).Went to the Pokies...

"Excellent location and great property for an overnight stay for 2 people with small carry ons. The room was tiny, and located at the top of steep narrow stairs, no room for a suitcase, but 2 carry ons were ok. No wardrobe or hanging space, tiny shower room, but perfect for a one night stay, which is all you need in Hahndorf."
