Beachside 3-Bedroom Townhouse w/ Private Pool at 70 Meters from Beach

Our home was designed in mind to provide our guests with space and comfort, so you feel "home away from home". It accommodates comfortably 6 people, and although you will have your own private pool, you can also enjoy the large, shared pool available in the garden of our small resort.

We are situated only 70 meters from the beautiful Bang Por Beach where access is through our garden alleys, without any roads to cross.

The home is well equipped with a fully functional kitchen, air-conditioning in each bedroom, fast fiber wireless internet, and Smart TV in the living room as well as in each bedroom where you can browse the internet, watch Netflix and YouTube. Very close to our location, you will also find plenty of local and international restaurants, and a few convenience stores.

THE SPACE

On the first floor is the living area with an open concept kitchen overlooking to your own private pool, and one bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
On the second floor, there are two bedrooms, one bathroom and 2 toilets. These two bedrooms share the upper floor open terrace where you can enjoy a sunbath or catch up on your reading with stunning views of the tall palm trees and the sea.

GUESS ACCESS

We are located along Bang Por Beach on the Northwest of the island, which is especially appreciated by our guests wanting to be by the beach and outside of the busy tourist spots, yet close by many restaurants and convenience stores, and at the same time still close enough to explore the island’s tourist attractions, nightlife, markets, restaurants and bars. This is the ideal vacation place for families with children or for anyone looking for a relaxing stay that is not far away from the city.

Just 70 meters by foot, walking through our garden alley with no road to cross gives you access to 4 kilometers of Bang Por Beach. The tropical landscape along this stretch of the coast is calm; palm fringed sandy beaches and clear water. Shallow coral reefs nearby also provide an excellent snorkeling experience. Free kayaks are available on the beach.

OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD

There are several international restaurants (Italian, French, Mediterranean, Indian) and authentic Thai restaurants that are within 500 meters on either side of the beach or alongside the road leading to the home.
There are a few convenience stores open 24/24 around us, and a supermarket situated 4.5 kilometers away that carries many international products. The island’s main shopping mall (Central in Chaweng) is 20 minutes away. The famous Fisherman's Village night market (restaurants, bars & shops) is 10 minutes away.

There are several other sightseeing attractions in Koh Samui e.g. snorkeling in Angthong National Park, scuba diving, quad in the jungle, paintball, go-kart, zoo, crocodile farm, Grandfather/ Grandmother Rocks, Big Buddha. If you need any recommendations, please do not hesitate to ask away.
Also, alongside the beach you’ll few several nice and cheap massage services.

GETTING AROUND

If you would like to visit & tour the island, we can assist you to book a taxi in advance. We also suggest renting a car or scooter which only costs very nominal and a free and easy way to explore the island by yourselves. Tour services are also available at your request if you prefer to just sit back, enjoy the view and be taken care of.

DIRECTION

We are at Coconut Laguna Bang Por 1 “Coconut Laguna Villas” - 18km, approx. 25 mins from the airport.
Coming from the Airport (Chaweng) towards Bang Por direction, we are 200 meters after “The Sea” Resort.

HOUSE BOOK

A House Book with all the information you need can be found at home e.g. WIFI password, but we also welcome our guests to contact us directly anytime with any further questions or assistance that they will need during their stay.

CHECK-IN

A staff member will be waiting for you when you arrive to welcome you, hand you the keys and show you around the home and the resort.

CHECK-OUT

A team member will meet you at home at an agreed time to assist with a smooth check-out.
Also, as electricity consumption is charged separately, she will check the electrical meter together with you, and our guests are required to pay cash directly at the resort in the local currency. We apologize that credit cards are not accepted.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

The services below can be arranged for you at request with additional costs, and you simply pay directly at the resort.

Super schönes sehr gut eingeteiltes Haus , perfekt für 2 erwachsene und 3 kinder. am besten hat uns der Wohnzimmerpool gefallen. Service perfekt (tgl reinigung. frische Hand und Badetücher) einzig etwas zu bemerken / kritisieren ist (falls man da empfindlich ist), dass der Strassenlärm etwas zu hören ist. vielen dank!

Amazing experience!
The property is just great with a swimming pool located literally in the living room. The resort itself is beautiful with a garden as beautiful as a small botanic garden. The beach is just a few steps away with a scenery that will make instagram lovers happy. Overall an amazing experience and the owners and the staff just complete the perfect picture. Thanks to them for making our holidays a memorable moment!

Wonderful stay, group of four
We found the duplex to be as described in the listing. We were a group of four women on holiday and there was ample space to have privacy and to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked where we cooked a few meals and the family restaurant across the street was amazing! Must try the pad Thai! I felt it was the best in the island! Overall, I would stay here again! The beach location was perfect and there was a nice ocean peak view from the top balcony. My only complaint was that the private pool turned our hair a vibrant shade of green! If you have blonde hair do not dip in the water. I mentioned this to staff who reported no one ever had this happen before. Research indicated that copper based algaecide was likely used. A couple hair scrubs in vinegar and baking soda over the remaining week reduced the green but not all. The pool was clean, refreshing and lovely just not for the blonde hair. We all kept our hair up after the first swim experience. I still give the property 5 stars for beach access, location on beautiful Bang Por beach, and amenities. Lastly, Rachel was very helpful in providing details of how to access the property upon arrival which was appreciated.

The appartement was very nice and good services. It is a calm and relaxing area, easy to take a taxi if you sent to go to more touristareas. We had rain the first three days and it eas lovely to have the pool inside the appartement, the children loved it.

Great accommodation in a quiet part of the island
We were a family of 4 who visited for 10 days in mid-August 2018. Rachel made immediate contact after we requested a booking. All of our questions were answered at that time and subsequently. The duplex is located just off the main 4169 road above a row of shops - it forms part of the Coconut Laguna Villas complex. There are six dulpexes in a row. The shops face the road, the duplexes face the beach. There is no real noise from the road or the shops (which are only open during the day). We used the bakery below our duplex for lovely fresh pastries every morning. The duplex is accessed from the terrace behind the building (as are all of the duplex’s). You enter your own door then walk up maybe 15 stairs to the living area. This is also where the pool is located and one of the bedrooms. It’s a 2 minute walk to the truly amazing, quiet beach. Along the way is the communal pool for the complex which we used a few times. On the beach there are loungers and kayaks that can be utilised - which we did most days. The water is very shallow in August and would be great for toddlers (but not swimming). The duplex has everything you could need - 3 large bedrooms with an en-suite to the main floor room and a shared bathroom plus separate loo to the top floor bedrooms. The top floor terrace has sun loungers and you can see the sea through the palm trees. Our 15 year old and 11 year old loved the private pool. Housekeeping visited daily to clean the living area. The staff were very friendly and would organise or sort anything you asked of them. We ate breakfast and made coffee everyday but didn’t use any of the cooking facilities; everything is there though. There is plenty of parking on the complex. There are one or two restaurants near the complex but the main drag of beach-front restaurants of Bang Por are a 15 minute walk either on the main road (pavement all the way) or along the beach (which was amazing at night). There is a Family Mart just a 2 minute walk away which is comprehensively stocked. Maenem is 5km away (50 baht each on Songteaw) and Fisherman’s Village is 10km away (500 baht in taxi). As we had a hire car we visited a lot of the island - nothing is more than 30 or 40 minute drive away. The duplex provided a brilliant base for our family holiday. It’s on a quiet part of the island with easy access to anything and anywhere. I would suggest a hire car is useful unless you are just planning to visit the beach every day. Highly recommended.

Great family villa.
This is an ideal way to just relax and be with family. The location is away from the main tourist areas. There are no local restaurants but a short motorbike ride and you can find everything you need. The kids spent all day in the pool and loved it. The hosts were amazing, they helped in anyway they could to make sure our stay with them went well. Definitely would book again.

Great location for our family
We stayed just short of a week with our three kids. There was plenty of space for all of us and we loved the privacy of the pool on the first floor. Everything was spotless and kept that way by the really nice cleaning crew that came every day. The view from the upstairs bedrooms is as pretty as in the pictures. Food was easy to get even without a car, restaurants and a minimart are really close and a little bakery that also does pizza is within the building. The beach is just beautiful and basically empty, we brought swim shoes with us to protect our feet from the coral, but they are no must have. We would all love to come back to this great location for some relaxed beach days!

Modernes perfekt ausgestattes Objekt
Wir, 4 Erwachsene, waren 1 Woche im Duplex. Die Ausstattung ist genau wie auf den Bildern, es fehlt an nichts und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und herrlich erfrischend. Rachel und Frau Miu haben unsere Wünsche ( 2 zusätzliche Sonnenliegen und einen Sonnenschirm ) schnell erledigt. Der E-Mail Austausch mit Rachel ist immer innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet worden. Das Objekt kann nur empfohlen werden.

Modern, upscale accommodations just a few steps away from paradise!
This beautiful, modern condo was perfect for our group of 5 adults. Spacious bedrooms each with its own ensuite suited our needs and provided plentiful hot showers for all of us with no water problems. Although the third bedroom shared the shower facilities with the second upstairs bedroom, this wasn't a problem for us, although the third bedroom ensuite has only a toilet and sink and would benefit from a small storage area for personal items. One thing we noticed although it wasn't problem for us, was the lack of an electrical outlet in the bathrooms. We used the air conditioners in the bedrooms only during the nights as the open concept living area on the main floor allowed for lovely breezes during the daytime and early evening hours. The automatic awnings allowed for quick closure during the brief rains that we experienced on a few occasions. The kitchen was stocked to allow for basic meal preparation although we never used the oven or more than a burner on the stove, as we soon discovered that eating at one of the many excellent beach restaurants was more economical and delicious than any Thai meal we could prepare! The daily sweeping service and full cleaning service every three to four days was excellent and there was never any shortage of beach towels or clean linens and towels for our use. It was a joy to relax in our private fresh water infinity pool after a long day at the ocean. A short walk through the garden pathways led to the sandy beach and very warm, clear and inviting ocean water. Kayaks and beach chairs were available for our use as residents of Coconut Laguna. Our unit manager, was most helpful and was available to assist with planning tours, answering questions and handling any concerns that arose. Rachel was very welcoming and even though she is not on site, she was diligent in answering emails immediately and ensuring that our every need was being met. We thoroughly enjoyed our little piece of paradise in Coconut Laguna. We would not recommend these units for people with mobility issues or small children due to the two sets of 12-14 stairs, and the pool which is completely open to the sitting area and kitchen. It is however the perfect get away place for vacationers looking for modern, upscale accommodations in Koh Samui! Thank you Rachel and Miyiu for an unforgettable six weeks! B&B, Ontario Canada

Lovely place in a quiet area, but not toddler friendly.
I'm very torn how to write this review. The property is gorgeous, in a quiet area and close to beaches, staff lovely. But we had a 2 yr old travelling with us and as soon as we arrived we knew this property was not safe for a toddler. The pool is totally open to the lounge/kitchen area and the tiles are very slippery, the stairs are really steep, one set has a gate at the top, but just a pot plant with big gaps on the other, the deck has huge gaps between the rails that he nearly fell through. If I was travelling with older children or adults the property is lovely and you are looked after well. I did email the owner after arrival, the next morning we booked some new accommodation to move to a different area. About an hour later the owner did call and offer to move us to a new villa which was very sweet but we had already paid the new place. We had paid for 4 nights here but only stayed one, so an expensive 16 hours for us. If you are just wanting to relax on the beach the property is lovely. Keeping in mind if you want to go to Chewang for example it's 700 baht each way, so starts to add up.

First time in Ko Samui, great location for family
We spent 1 week in the duplex with swimming pool . Location is great, the beach is very close (1 minute) from the appartement and all Facilities , laundry, baby sitting, free canoe, very nice restaurant around on the beach . And not expensive , massage on the beach 100 bath 1 hour . Very quite place . Lovely team with manager Nickie , how take care of you like palace hotel . Also very safe place with security 24 h/ . Highly recommended .

Great apartment in quiet, nice location
We really much enjoyed our stay and this was a wonderful apartment for us, which we can certainly recommend. Thank you, Rachel for the great service and assistance. The appartment is truely as nice as the pictures in the ad and provided a great home on Koh Samui for us. We stayed with 2 adults and three children, it had plenty of room for us and we much enjoyed the private pool, in addition to the common pool of the complex that was also close by. The apartment is located in a quiet, not touristic area of Koh Samui,which we liked a lot. Nevertheless, there are grocery shops and restaurants, as well as massage/manicure etc services close by. It is easy to catch a taxi or songthaew to close by markets or sights. The apartment was by the main street (bathroom windows facing there), so some traffic noise; the good side being that it was easy to get to places. Beautiful looking beach is close by also, however not good for swimming as there are rocks in the water. Housekeeping service was also really good and towels / beachtowels were changed every couple of days etc., staff and housekeep manager friendly and helpful. We would be happy to come back some time.

Great apartment for an extended stay
We are a family of 6 that stayed in Koh Samui for 3 weeks. This was a wonderful apartment for us. It had everything we needed to cook for ourselves or there were several restaurants within walking distance if you preferred. Plenty of room and it was wonderful to have a private pool the kids could cool down in at anytime. Just steps from a nice quiet beach where the water is relatively calm. Also nice that there is a public pool for the whole complex to meet some of the other people staying in the complex.
