"If you need a hotel on Koh Chang, Sylvan is your best choice! We stayed four nights and enjoyed every day of it. Make sure to book the Deluxe Beachfront room if you prefer close access to the beach and restaurant. Excellent and helpful staff. We booked a snorkel-boat and transfer to the next destination in the hotel reception. Everything went smooth. Very low tide in the afternoon/night time. Possible to walk along the beach to other restaurants without problem. "

"the hotel is "fine", but not worth the price nor the title. the staff makes a big effort to please and I am thankfull to them, but the place is absolutely not worth the price. there are much better places to stay in Koh Chang at a fraction of this price. the hotel is badly mantained and very very old instalations (very "used"); there is no beach, the gardens are not mantained and the transfer to Kho white Beaches happens only 4 times a day with last one at 19:00..."

"Overall very nice, BUT ! To wake up at 6:00 to be able to get a sun bed is not vacation. Breakfast on such big hotel could have bigger variety. Breakfast staff were in not good mood. Almost all looked very angry to start that early or maybe didn’t like us tourists. "

"Viajámos no meio de dezembro/18 e ao escolher o quarto optámos por pagar mais e ficar num quarto em promoção com piscina privada. Quando chegámos ao hotel percebemos porquê, o edificio onde ficava o quarto estava em obras, estando apenas parte dele disponivel. FIcámos instalados num 3º andar sem elevador e com obras a decorrer das 8h às 17h mesmo ao lado do quarto. Demonstrámos desagrado no check in mas disseram estar cheios e não houve muito a fazer (a opção era ir para um quarto ainda mais...

"Das Hotel sollte für die Durchreise sein. Daher hatten wir ein ganz einfaches Zimmer mit Garten. Es war neu modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Ruhe und das sehr freundliche personal. Auf der Reise hatten wir 9 verschiedene Hotels und das hatte das bequemste Bett mit 1er Matratze. Kommen gerne wieder"

"Et super dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed direkte på skøn strand. Dinners foregår hver dag på stranden i romantisk setup. Utroligt venligt og høfligt personale. Vi havde et problem på vores flotte værelse med en beskidt og defekt madras, men inden for 5 min efter vi klagede blev den udskiftet og vi fik en par massage i SPA som undskyldning. Giver top karakter for service og yderst fantastisk personale. Der er de smukkeste solnedgange fra liggestolen mens man nyder en kold pina colada! "

"Das Hotel ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es sieht so aus, als ob es nur noch vor sich hin dümpelt. Es hatte sicher einmal größeres Potential in den Anfangsjahren. Dafür dass das Hotel 5* hat, sieht es leider danach nicht mehr aus. Eher 4*. Das Hotel ist jedoch groß und hat schöne geräumige Zimmer und tolle Betten. Der Service ist gut, die Angestellten sind sehr bemüht. Das Frühstück, welches als reichhaltiges Frühstück angepriesen wird, ist in Ordnung, aber leider a la carte und keine...

"Paradise! Beautifully landscaped, own tiny beach where you can swing over clear waters, gorgeous pool, super peaceful, nice restaurant, lovely, clean, round air-conditioning posh "huts', good hot showers and large dressing area. Plus the sweetest people working there! Very helpful. Only downsides, the rooms had no full length mirrors, and as I'm short, I could only ever see the top half of my head before I went out.
