"From the minute we stepped foot into this property, we felt at home. We were met with sparkling clean accommodations, breathtaking views, a bowl of fruit on the table, and coffee and teabags in the counter! The rooms were all comfortable and attractive, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, tea pots, coffee press, sugar, spices, etc. We had a wonderful holiday at Shannon View, and recommend it highly! "

"We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed interacting with Margaret. She was very polite and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this location. Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay....

"We stayed here for 6 days and it was wonderful. The cottage is super cozy and has everything you need. The communication with Steph was perfect all the time and she was always helpful. The cottage is a bit far off in the nature so you'd definitely want to have a car for your stay. It's a 1- 1 and 1/2 hour drive to different touristic places like Cliffs of Mother, Spanish Point etc but I would recommend everyone to visit the cliffs of Kilkee, because it is much more beautiful and not that...

"Other reviews are perfect examples of this place. Was so nice, so clean and comfortable for our young kids and grandparents. Layout of the house is great. And they have the best toys for children. "The house was lovely, clean, well furnished (in a way that makes you feel like you’re visiting somewhere special), and spacious. We loved waking up in the morning to the spectacular views and returning home after sight seeing to a company friendly kitchen and comfortable living room. The hosts who passed off the keys were an added treat: gave us the inside scoop to get away from more touristy attractions to more local ones, and made us feel like we were friends."

"This is our 3rd stay here. The setting is wonderful. You see the cows heading out to pasture every morning from the living room windows. Very peaceful and scenic. The house is immaculate and has everything you need four your stay. The owners are so nice and friendly and were always available for questions or suggestions. We highly recommend! "
