"Our family needed a place to stay before hitting the trails of the Redwood Forest and this place was perfect! It was very dog friendly for our furry family with a wonderful fenced in backyard. I love that there were plenty of blankets around the house for anyone who got cold, and there were plenty of towels for showers in the morning, very thoughtful! "We had a wonderful experience at this property. The house was clean and well kept. The fenced backyard was perfect for our small dog and 2-year-old. Plenty of space for us to relax and beach access was a few minutes walk away. The manager made sure we had everything we needed and I'm sure would have been quick to respond to any issues, though we had none during our 5 nights stay. Highly recommended!"

"My partner and I stayed here on our recent road trip on the west coast, and overall this was a great experience. The home was clean with new appliances (shoutout to the washer and dryer), and we enjoyed using the lovely kitchen. Check in was easy once we got a hold of the property manager, and the location has good access to Crescent City. The house was what we expected from the pictures online. Great stay for us!"

"The home itself was great, came with all basic necessities needed, comfortable space and nice yard. The one downside was the bugs - a lot of cobwebs in the house, spiders and slugs. Overall good place to stay in a quiet area that is easy to find in the heavy fog. Easy access to Redwoods either direction too. "

"The place is nice we had some issues some were addressed others weren't. The place is quite great views. No tv if youre a big tv fan. Wifi doesnt work that great. The cell service is bad in that area just an fyi. Over all it was comfy. The appliances are dated though haha. Jet tub doesnt work if youre going for that like i was so it was disappointing on that. Parking is small space in front couldnt use the garage. I think 588$ i spent was too much."

"This is our second time staying at the Pelican and it was even better this time. It's clear the property owner and host have put a little love into the home with an updated master bath, linens, and an outdoor shower! The location is perfect, the beach access is super easy, and the home was clean. We had a great time, and will definitely come back again soon."
