"We enjoyed the mixture of old style and modern conveniences. The house was clean and comfortable. The view was marvelous- we had two gorgeous days to enjoy a front porch view of the mountain. Sunset and sunrise were amazing. The caretaker next door is very nice and helpful. We enjoyed watching otters and seals in the water as we sipped our coffee on the porch. Wonderful getaway with the family. "

"We are from Seattle and wanted to rent a house to kayak in the south sound area. This house was the ideal location. The house has a beautiful view over the water to Raft Island. We loved watching the tides come and go. The deck off the back is huge and a lovely place to sit and watch the view, read books, barbecue, and just hang out. "From the beautiful 38' yacht, to the restored netshed and the ambience of the harbor - I cannot recommend this stay enough, especially if you are a boating enthusiast. Access to the walkable waterfront, great restaurants, shopping is convenient and you may even be visited by otters or harbor seals while on the yacht. I will be back! "
