Room sleeps 4 w/ radiant heat + wood burning fireplace, deck w/ gas firepit & mountain views, coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, T1 Line WIFI, Smart TV, full bath, 1 Queen, 1 Full sofa bed w/ new mattress, private covered parking & elevator access to unit. Plus, Hot Tub in the Winter!
The space
SKI-INā™„Cozy Little Getawayā™„ is the perfect nook to stay in Kirkwood w/, radiant heat, wood-burning fireplace, free firewood at your disposal, private gas fire pit on deck w/ mountain views and comfy chairs. No need to worry about staying warm here. Besides all the warm and coziness let's talk....

The studio is about 220 yards to the Kirkwood Village main mountain access, a short walk to the lifts and you can ski-in right to the front door of the building from chair 6 or chair 7.
There are also groomed cross-country skiing trails right out the back door of the building.
The free Kirkwood shuttle picks up in front of the building giving you transportation to the Kirkwood General Store, Kirkwood Village (Chair 6, 10&11) &Timber Creek, the beginner learning area (chair 7 and Bunny).

Ski right in drop your gear in your assigned locker, while your there tune up the gear @ the waxing station if needed. Then stroll upstairs and prepare to sit back & relax by a warm fire w/ a cozy blanket, or go down stairs to the hot tub for a soak. Hot tub is located in a large great room with two-sided fireplace, large tables and super comfy chairs to relax in... perfect for entertaining guests. Out the double doors on the deck are the communal gas grill for all your grilling needs.

SKI-INā™„Cozy Little Getawayā™„ is equipped w/ one queen bed, plush bedding, full size sofa bed w/ new mattress and all the bedding needed to make a perfectly cozy bed. There is a mini fridge, toaster, coffee maker & microwave. We supply coffee cups, tea, coffee, sugar & creamer. Please Note we DO NOT supply cookware.

Entertainment needs: Smart Tv logged in w/ Netflix. High Speed Wi-Fi Capable of Hosting Multiple Video Calls & Streaming Needs

When visiting you will have private underground parking available for one car/truck. Which means no shoveling snow off your car after shredding powder all day! You will also have access to a full-size ski locker w/ lock to keep all your equipment safe and dry. Lockers are conveniently located at the main level entrance of the building.

PLEASE NOTE: Radiant heat to the building will be shut off during the spring and summer months (May through October). During this time, your heat source is the wood burning fireplace. All wood is stocked and supplied as well as fire starter's. In addition, the unit has a space heater for your convenience.

Cozy and close to resort

Just as advertised, the condo is very cozy, clean and close to the resort. Having fridge, microwave and coffee pot were ideal since food options at the resort are limited and not great.

Nice and cozy

Great little place for a cozy overnight in Kirkwood. . Loved the fireplace and all the available firewood. Best for two people. Four worked ok but a bit tight. Would come back again

Overall very satisfied with our stay. Perfect for a 2-3 day trip with me and my two boys. Communal space is great but felt like I was in a library at times. Very quiet and when kids got a little noisy it was quickly shut down by residents. Would definitely stay here again

Nice but not in the summer!!

The communication with the owner was great! Very nice and helpful. The place was ok it hadn't been prepared for the summer so we had to do a bit of cleaning in the back balcony before we could enjoy the sitting area, gas fireplace and amazing views! If you are going up for winter fun like skiing, boarding, etc.. This is your place!! If you are looking for summer fun, not so much. There wasn't a store or gas station less than 40 minutes away. The place was a ghost town with most things closed and being repaired. (Construction zone). There was no way to cook in this unit so prepare to go 'hotel' style for the most part. There was a nice fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine. But bring your own coffee not enough for our stay. By no means was this a bad experience. We enjoyed the quiet and cool air. Just not what we were expecting. We probably would not stay again in the summer, but we would give it a try again for the winter months!

The listing provides the name for the wrong contact. The unit reserved was not clean, dirty floors, hair in the bathroom and shower. Once we got the right contact she was very communicative and helpful. She moved us to an adjacent unit which was much better, but still found the shower not very clean. Heat was off in the entire building and it was very cold, we were provided a space heater but that didnā€™t help much. For the price we paid to stay in an off season ski resort I wouldā€™ve expected at the very least that the place be clean and to be told ahead of time that there was no heat.

Property excellent for 1 or 2 night stay. Itā€™s 5 min walk to chair 5 &6. Back balcony view of chair 6 slopes. Nice quaint studio. The owner was wonderful to work with due this years crazy snow storms had to change bookings twice.

Cozy Little Condo

This was a cozy little condo, description of property very accurate, fireplace nice after skiing and comfortable bed with nice bed linens. However skiers need to be aware that the lack of cooking facilities and no cutlery or dishes (had only a frig, coffee maker, toaster and microwave)makes it difficult at Kirkwood as this ski resort has limited restaurants. In the evening only a pub and a place selling pizza are open. We were also disappointed that the hot tub was closed. However it was a pleasant room and owner was very attentive to ensure all was well for us.

We loved our stay here. Comfortable bed and sofa pull-out, lovely linens, great set up for coffee, tea and a quick snack (microwave and toaster)! It served our 3 day, 2 night ski adventure well!!!

The room was clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. The common space was very nice and people tending to the property very friendly. However. the description of the place says one bedroom, one bath, and it says ā€žyou have the whole apartment to yourselvesā€œ. Unfortunately, I didnā€™t read to the very end where it says that it doesnā€™t have a kitchen. I also didnā€™t look at the pictures closely enough. What I thought was a big living room, was actually the common room. This place is too small for 4 adults, especially for more than one or two nights. It is not an apartment or studio as described, it is a hotel room. Additionally, we were very disappointed that the hot tub wasnā€™t working. We ended up spending a lot more money than anticipated for eating out and we decided to go home a day early.

The condo was clean and comfortable. The lifts are right across the street, very convenient. The only thing we were disappointed in was the fact that the hot tub was closed.

We enjoyed our ski vacation at Kirkwood. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The skiing is a short walk away, so it's convenient.
