"Staying here was wonderful. Plenty of space for the family and the elevator was great to have for my elderly mother. Having the garage for her was also a large plus. Quiet nights were wonderful to sit around and enjoy movies together. Only issue was on the last day there was an issue with the internet, and we had no tv except in one room. Great kitchen, very clean. I do have to apologize to the young lady that tried to help us when we were at the wrong address. I am truly sorry for being hard to...

"Beautiful and very relaxing vacation. The view from the condo was amazing. The sunrises were spectacular. Within steps of the beach which we walked daily. Had everything we needed to cook our meals, very equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. The sheets and towels were great. Everything was made to feel at home and comfortable. Tony is a fantastic host. Thank you again for the wonderful stay!"

"We went to OBX for Christmas week for a peaceful and romantic getaway. We wanted plenty of room and a well equipped kitchen. We were not disappointed. Everything we needed to make prime rib and steaks and so many other great things was provided for us. The house is beautiful and when you step into the main living area you feel like you are home. The house was immaculate, the furnishings are comfortable and stylish and there are cozy spots everywhere. This was one of the best trips we’ve ever...

"We were just here for a little weekend get-away before Christmas. The house is as advertised. It feels like staying at your friends well-loved beach house. The view is beautiful, you are close to everything and there is plenty of room for kids (and the dog) to relax. While it has almost everything, there wasn’t a microwave, which was a bit of a surprise. The sandspurs are abundant, so shows outdoors are a must. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Beautiful home inside! Very spacious! There were issues with the kitchen sink being clogged up, the pool not being cleaned, The outside furniture was very old and not very nice to sit on or used. The grill was rusted and unusable. We tried to address these issues the first day we arrived and no one ever came to fix these. Our resolution came later after we left in the form of a partial refund."

"We had an awesome time at the Scruffy Pelican, and would most likely stay there again. Other reviewers complained about the public beach entrance being close to the house. We didn’t find this to be a big deal. It’s not trafficked that much and nearly all the people passing by are nice families. The place was great. It more or less looks just like the images online. My only complaints would be that many of the doors stick badly and are hard to open and close. This is obviously due to the humid...
