"This was a fantastic stop on our road trip! The cabin is beautiful and was the perfect size for the two of us and our dogs. The best part was the farm animals and Bonnie, the sweetest LGD! We plan to stay here again. I can’t recommend them enough!!"

"We traveled to Johnson City from Savannah Georgia to celebrate Christmas. The home was exactly as described and was decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch. I was easily able to entertain a family of five for the holidays. We would definitely stay again. Cheers!"

"The Hemlock cabin was so warm and welcoming, with a Christmas tree and lovely holiday decor. It was very comfortable, with everything we needed. My husband and I were there with our daughter and our dogs, and it was perfect for all of us. The cabin was very clean, with plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor space is amazing, with a large field to walk the dogs and a fire pit right on the river. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!"

"This is a pretty cabin in a very rural setting near the Watauga river. It has a lot of windows and we enjoyed watching the cows across the street, and we also saw baby lambs. The long mountain views are awesome - we saw them covered in snow!The inside of the cabin is nice and new; although minimally decorated. The beds were very comfortable; everyone enjoyed them.One interesting aspect of the cabin was the flies. It was strange seeing so many of them in the winter with temps in the teens. I...

"This place is magical and so so relaxing we never wanted to leave. Each night I was so relaxed listening to the river and hiking through the day that I slept a solid 9 hours each night. Something my mind and body desperately needed. The house is so clean and stocked with everything you need. The outside is everything here. A beautiful river overlooking a mountain. A fire pit and deck with covered awning to wake up and sip coffee. If you're looking for peace, tranquility and a place to gather...

"The cabin stay was wonderful for the whole family ( age range 8 to 72). The cabin is full of character, history and charm with all the modern conveniences. In spite of some pretty chilly weather the family enjoyed fishing, loved the hot tub and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals .
