After booking a room and traveling multiple hours with my girlfriend and our pet to stay in said room, upon arriving I was met with a unexpected large fee that we did not currently have with no warning nowhere in the booking and nowhere on secondary site saying anything about the fee. As I tried to cancel my cancel and refund got denied because the room was booked at 7:00 p.m. in the evening but somehow they expected me to check in at 2:00 p.m. in the day 9 hours previous to when we even booked, so after fighting with the business and the travel agency for 2 hours in a parking lot hours away from home instead of sleeping on a street in the middle of nowhere we used what money we had left for gas and traveled all the way back home empty-handed and wasting more than just the booking but gas food and time. I will never recommend Expedia to anybody ever in my life and as far as Americorps ends goes I would notrecommend it if they were already dead. The woman working the desk was fine she tried to help me and she had explained to me that multiple times now she has talked to management about posting their booking fees and other important information on their listings and they refuse to do so. Only in today's world could a company take your money give you nothing in return, refuse to give your money back and pretty much tell you to get lost . Sicking display of corporate greed.
