"We had a great time (10 of us) staying in this house! The pool was a hit for the kids and adults and we spent a lot of time sitting outside. Super close to the beach. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for all. The host was helpful and responded quickly. (The road in front of the house is busy and people drive quite fast so just be mindful if you bring pets or little ones!)"

"Really enjoyed staying here for a local event in LaPorte. Owner is great and provided excellent communication. The house is older and a little dated, but was perfectly fine for our needs. Two suggestions: 1. Add a bath mat in the tub - surface is a little slippery. 2. Hang hooks in the bathroom so that towels can be reused. Looking forward to our return visit in December. "We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bass Lake. January is certainly off-season for lake living in the Midwest, but we had a great time. The home is well stocked and has plenty of room for a big group. There are a couple of bars/restaurants within walking distance which is nice. Groceries are readily available just minutes away. Top notch experience"

"We enjoyed our stay. The beds were quite comfortable, the home was clean and the hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. There were six of us so the setup of the home worked great for us. The Kuerig and K-cups were a nice touch. My only suggestions would be the addition of floor length mirrors in the bedrooms and some larger pots/pans in the kitchen."
