Some kind of sports event being attended by kids has lead me to give 4 stars, think they should have been together in one part of the hotel rather than spread about as being woken up by teenagers banging on doors at 3am in the morning is not ideal. "My room was on the top floor with a private use bathroom across the corridor frommy room. It was a small shower room with toilet. The shower was OK, but not very powerful. I liked the amenities provided. Shower gel etc and a razor pack in the bathroom, coffee and hot chocolate in the bedroom. Wifi was excellent. If I have to put some small gripes, it would be there was nowhere to sit and work. So not ideal for a business stay. It was on the top floor which is quite a hike and there is no lift,...

"Lovely little pub accommodation, the room was spacious and the bed comfy. I would have liked an iron in the room, and a more powerful shower, as well as an earlier check in. The breakfast was lovely, as was the owner. A nice little place to stay."
