Eclipse adventure
Cabin was perfect for our stay. Very private and quiet. Owner let us pet and feed the animals. Was nice sitting next to the fire pit star gazing. Onsite cook made and delivered all our delicious meals, she even delivered us some adult beverages from town. Owner was charming and accommodating. Overall had a wonderful time!

Completely impeccable! The host was very helpful and knowledgeable. The cabin and its amenities, and the surrounding area, have been put together very thoughtfully to give guests an excellent experience. The animals are happy and friendly and well cared-for. Will return and have sent the listing to everyone I know!

Great country get away
We stayed here for our 1 year anniversary and loved it! The property is clean and the cabin is beautiful and even though it’s a “tiny” cabin it feel roomy. We rented the ATV and had a blast, Ray is great and give you free range to the entire property. The animals are great, horses and emu are free range and friendly. They would come up to us while outside in the swing or hang around the cabin. Overall we had a wonderful time great get away from the city. It was quiet and peaceful, a great way to get some R&R.

Secluded outdoorsy retreat
Very impressed! Great if you're looking for a quiet secluded getaway with lots of things to do to relax and be outdoors! Cabin is cozy, everything you need...hot tub and firepit were a fabulous touch to relax, grill out and see the stars. We loved sitting in the hot tub and looking at the stars. Ray was a great host! Showed us the way and all around the cabin, the amenities and his awesome animals! The Emu's were frequent visitors just hanging around. Got to pet an ostrich for the first time! Super cool. We spent time riding the four wheeler through the backroads and terrain...exploring and spotting lots of deer. We would love to come back for another weekend getaway! Thanks Ray!

Provides a beautiful experience
Ray has thought of everything! The place is beautiful and provides everything one could need. The outdoor space and indoor space are both awesome. We loved the swing, the fire pit, the hot tub, and the huge beautiful picture window in the room. We had a beautiful time in the middle of nature. There are also many animals, all super cool. Thank you Ray!

It was beautiful more than I expected well design. It was amazing to lay in bed and watch the sunrise. The host was great giving us a background of all the animals.

Great weekend getaway.
We had such a nice peaceful weekend. There was a small hiccup with the checkin but Ray was readily available and more than made up for it during our stay. The property was easy to find and we enjoyed being able to visit the animals

Fantastic Stay at quiet retreat
We recently had the pleasure of staying 1 night at this wonderful place and it was exactly what we needed. We was greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully maintained property. The cabin itself was absolutely charming. It was clean and tastefully decorated, giving it a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Small kitchen was equipped with basics I needed to prepare meals and a fire pit outside for grilling. There was a place to sit in front of the window to view the property but opted to eat outside as the weather was great. The location is great to have a peaceful night. The cabin is a little blocked off from the rest of the farm to have more privacy. I enjoyed breathtaking views of the farm as James showed us around. Got to meet all the animals there and my favorite was the pot belly pig Gotti! Additionally, the proximity to town was great to get food to grill out and relax. We are already talking about plans to stay even longer next time. Thank you for making our stay great

Great get-a-way for the evening
Although our stay was short, this small cabin was perfect for relaxing and a good nights sleep. Owner was easy to contact and accommodating. Had we been able to stay a bit longer, we would have availed ourselves of the additional amenities.

Fantastic host and great property
We stayed here on a fri-mon. Communication with Ray was very easy, I had a few questions before booking and they were answered the same day. The cabin is perfect for a couple or just a single person, with the kitchenette we were able to cook whole meals and had just enough counter space for everything. The outdoor fire pit was also great to cook over and had good clean firewood for us to use. Ray also took us around the property and showed us all the animals who are friendly and fun to be around, goats, emu, ostrich,turkey, duck, quail, peacock, rabbits, cows and horses. The 20 acres ranch was great for walking around and we didn’t see another person the whole weekend. There’s a oversized swing that’s great to lay on at night and look up at the stars and plenty of sitting area around the fire pit. Overall I highly recommend visiting, this has been my favorite so far and plan to visit again.

We were just looking for relaxing in the woods and are thankful that's exactly what we got. We love animals and got to look a horse eye-to-eye! We took a picture of a red & white Hereford laying peacefully near our cabin and were amused by the Emu strutting around our cabin.

Central Texas hidden gem by a cute farm
Perfect getaway in a cabin just a short walk from a beautiful farm. Awesome hosts that give you a tour of the place and really care about your stay. They are very attentive to detail and will go the extra mile to make you feel safe and taken care of. The cabin is small and modern but still cozy and very clean.

Relaxing cabin on a farm. The cabin was much more beautiful than the pictures do justice. The owners found out it was our anniversary and had an arrangement of wine, balloons, and tiny candles set up when we arrived. The hot tub and cabin were super clean. Our favorite part was relaxing by the fire in the pit/grill. You can drive 10 minutes south to the small town of Florence and eat at Manos mexican or La Fuente. We rented a four wheeler to cruise around the farm and trails. We took a tour of the farm and the animals. The animals do make noise(nothing disruptive) but if you know anything about raising animals then you know. We enjoyed them and our whole stay. We will be back!

Cute Cabin
The cabin is cozy & Ray was very hospitable! I would stay here again. I was on a business trip so I didn't have time to participate in some of the on-site amenities such as four wheeler, campfire, hot tub, or seeing the animals, but seems like that would have been a lot of fun. The location is somewhat remote, on a ranch about 15 miles from town. The road leading to property is very rocky & full of ruts & you do have to open/close gate when you come & go. This is not a reflection on the cabin as that is just part of living in the country but it is something to be aware of.
