"We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed interacting with Margaret. She was very polite and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this location. Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. "We stayed here for 6 days and it was wonderful. The cottage is super cozy and has everything you need. The communication with Steph was perfect all the time and she was always helpful. The cottage is a bit far off in the nature so you'd definitely want to have a car for your stay. It's a 1- 1 and 1/2 hour drive to different touristic places like Cliffs of Mother, Spanish Point etc but I would recommend everyone to visit the cliffs of Kilkee, because it is much more beautiful and not that...

"The house was lovely, clean, well furnished (in a way that makes you feel like you’re visiting somewhere special), and spacious. We loved waking up in the morning to the spectacular views and returning home after sight seeing to a company friendly kitchen and comfortable living room. The hosts who passed off the keys were an added treat: gave us the inside scoop to get away from more touristy attractions to more local ones, and made us feel like we were friends."

"We spent 5 nights at the thatched cottage to use as a home base for day trips to Southern Ireland. It was like stepping back in time but with modern conveniences!! The large farm was peaceful and so much fun to explore. The property was close to Adare for stores and restaurants but yet so private. We did love being visited very day by the two dogs!! Lastly, David was so responsive, helpful and a pleasure to handle everything during the rental. We highly recommend this property."
