"We had a great stay house was really clean and comfortable but unfortunatly it is about 20 km from the train station as it says on website its 15 min walk so we had to get taxis in and out of town which was 30 euro each way Also they don't have credit card facilities so the money had to be revoluted or cash and we weren't informed of this untill day 2.."

"Once again this year we had the privilege of spending 9 wonderful nights there. Everything is as described in the presentation, pictures absolutely reflect the complete house and property. Just like last year, we felt welcome and simply at home for the short time. The house is super well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need. "La dame est très gentille, elle donne tous les renseignements que nous lui demandons mais la note de 8/10 pour l’établissement ne correspond en rien à l’état des lieux. Deux chambres sont correctes si on ne regarde pas le ménage, la troisième chambre avec salle de bain, la robinetterie du lavabo ne fonctionne pas. "Our large group of family and friends stayed here for a week and enjoyed the beautiful Drawing Room for morning coffee, cocktail hour and nightcaps (made extra cozy by the fireplace). During the day we enjoyed the nearby lanes and paths that wander through the green and tranquil countryside. There are a lot of attractive and large rooms that are perfect for a large group, but bathrooms (and hot water availability) need updating (some toilet seats were falling off). "Great place for morning walks, trees were in full fall color, horses friendly and very quiet. The accommodations met were clean and met the expectations of or 2 couple party. Thank-you for a memorable stay "

"The location and the property were both superb... Mary the owner ought to be cloned for every B&B. She was THE BEST....loved our interactions with her. This is a place to be highly recommended and it comes with resident donkeys. One could not ask for more. Warmer and sunnier, maybe. But hey, it's Ireland! We did have some sun!"

"We've stayed in a lot of properties and this is my new favorite. We brought 3 of our adult kids and 1 daughter in law and there was plenty of space and separation so they didn't keep us up if/when they stayed up later than us. It was old world charm with modern conveniences, and central to so many wonderful sites in Mayo. We went to Cong, Galway, Westport, Knock, Ballintubber, Ballinrobe, and up to Ballina & the incredible Downpatric Head Dun Briste sea stack & cliffs (1 hr & 1/2 scenic drive.)...

"The property is cozy and comfortable. We needed some special accommodations for our 82 year old mom with limited mobility this property was able to meet all of her needs. The Host is simply amazing! She was so helpful beforehand and while we were there. Words can not express how perfect this exerience was for our family."
