Fully remodeled in June 2023, this bright, beautiful one bedroom, one bathroom oceanfront property in Hale Kai O Kihei welcomes you! This second floor condo is luxurious and comfortable and includes a brand new, top of the line split air conditioning unit. Enjoy cool air in the kitchen and main area and the bedroom. Just a mere 60 feet outside the unit you will find yourself on a breathtaking, serene beach. The location and proximity to the sandy, beautiful beach cannot be beat! Enjoy views of the ocean, take a walk and see basking turtles, whale watch, and enjoy the sunrise and sunset right from the private, second-story lanai. Lanai is equipped with custom, electric, sunshade and newly installed glass sliding doors.

Our beach is very secluded and private. There are no public facilities here (bathrooms, showers, parking lots, etc.), which keeps the crowds located at other beaches. The water is shallow for a very long time until you reach the reef. You can wade with turtles or bask in the sunshine! Beach towels, beach umbrella, and beach chairs provided.

After a day at the beach you will enjoy the custom designed bedroom complete with a king bed. Leave the barn door open to hear the ocean or close it for privacy. The fully stocked kitchen features brand new stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and a breakfast bar. Not a detail has been overlooked! The living area includes a memory-foam, comfortable pull-out sofa facing your 55” Smart TV.

A block away are many walkable convenient amenities including numerous restaurants, as well as retail shopping, and a full service grocery store.

Great stay!
Property located in great area, close walking and driving to activities and restaurants. Property as described and pictured. Bedding had some stains, otherwise rental was clean and had all things needed. AC and fans were loud, made it hard to sleep soundly while staying cool. Beautiful view and sandy beach right outside.

A great condo with everything that we could need for our stay. It was a great jumping off point for exploring Maui and the location on the beach made it a perfect place to recharge! We would absolutely stay here again.

5 Stars is Not Enough - Amazing
This property is simply stunning! It is in a perfect location to restaurants, grocery stores, and to simply experience a low key residential area. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well thought out. The balcony affords you the most incredible sunsets and makes a fun time watching the whales. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need. The extra towels, pillows, and blankets allowed you to customize your comfort. I appreciated having access to a vacuum to keep the floor tidy. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was also an unexpected bonus that you never think would use in vacation but it did come in handy.My only two suggestions that would make the accommodation a little more comfortable is a better shower head in the bathroom and some sort of adjustable covering over the enter door (the jealousies). Overall, this VRBO experience was by far a highlight of the trip.

Beautiful condo in an excellent location
We have stayed at Hale Kai O Kihei a number of times and Joe's condo is probably the nicest remodeled one we have stayed in. Joe was quick and courtesy with communication. The condo was very clean, modern with an easy check in. The kitchen was stocked with everything we would need for appliances and utensils. The condo also had beach things (chairs, umbrella, body board and different types of beach toys). The view is just perfect. We love having a pool right there, as well as the beach. We will absolutely stay in Joe's condo again. Thank you!

I couldn’t find a better place for a mini vacation. The condo was amazing! Right on the beach and beautiful views from the balcony. Unit had everything you would need to feel like home. Location is very convenient, on a quiet street, but also minutes away from all the shopping and restaurants. It wasn’t my first time in Maui and I never stayed in Kihei before, but would definitely go back there. I liked that you can tan on the grass lawn and in a minute walk on a sand and jump into the ocean. And the area is so quiet, you can hear the waves from the living room.

Turtle beach!
Great condo steps from the ocean. Good location to start your day from.Close to shopping and a good size living space that sure beats a hotel.Highlight of trip was watching several sea turtles come up on the beach. Nature up close and personal.If you watch the water, you can see the turtles pop their heads up from time to time as they drift past the beach. Made for a special trip.

Amazing Place on Maui!
The view of the beach right of the balcony/patio is beautiful!! My husband and I loved sitting out there just taking in the view. The condo is beautiful and thankfully air conditionerd. Joe is a great owner, thinking of everything you might need for your visit. We woukd most definitely stay here again in a heartbeat! The only thing I can say anyway negative is the way he list the laundry , I thought it was only coin operated. No there is a stackable in the condo. Joe thank you so much for your hospitality and letting us visit your beautiful property!! I hope we can return and visit again!

Was a great unit and nicely renovated. No elevator which was ok. Front door had jalousies. Would be nice to have a window covering from more privacy since the bedroom is adjacent to the front door. The shower sprayer was great but a little high. my wife is short and could not replace it. Had a good stay.

Joe is super responsive and personable. The condo is exactly as described (or better). There is an in unit washer dryer that is not coin operated. The place is clean and has all the amenities! The design is thoughtful and above average. On the beach right out front, we saw turtles daily and even an eagle ray one day. Parking is easy. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

During our nine night stay, the view from the living room of the palms swaying and the ocean was mesmerizing. Beautifully decorated with comfortable bed. The property was quiet. Easy parking. Wi-fi speed was super fast for some "work" things we had to do while there. The unit had a clothes steamer to use for our wedding attire in the bathroom closet. The beach chairs located on the patio were great for beach days. Would stay at Joe's place again in a heartbeat! Loved it.

This was a super clean, equipped and conveniently located unit. Walk to shops, restaurant, coffee. Decorations met my wife's picky expectations. Air-conditioning works great when needed. Was perfect for the 2 days we needed.

The perfect getaway!
We were so impressed as soon as we stepped into this property! An amazing view of the ocean, and the perfect spot in Kihei! We spent many mornings on the lanai drinking our coffee and seeing the turtles go back to their ocean homes. We were able to get around the island to Black Rock Beach for cliff jumping and snorkeling, the Road to Hana, visiting many local beaches and loved the luau at Gilligans (just 5 minutes away!) Thank you for making our 20th wedding anniversary trip one to remember!
