It is really tough and I do not like to provide negative reviews, but this one is. I followed other reviews up to the point of "moving in". I sensed also that all was not well, but when making contact about building works etc I was told all was well and there would be no disturbance nor building works going on. However, whilst the building works was minimal whilst we were there, it was a building site, particularly around the our allocated parking. One of the guys that was frequently around the place actually advised us against parking there, because it "is a building site, full of screws and nails". The communcation with the property manager was one way and of an autocratic nature. I sent one mail asking for clarification on check out early on during our stay, but got no response. But when it came to telling us what to do she was good at communicating that. 10% discount was offered before our stay - due to inconvenience because of building works. The cottage itself is described as conch style, which would be fine, but it feels like it was built late 1950's or early 1960's - and nothing has been done to the interior since then - that was the perception we were left with.
The only thing that in our view was positive was the lovely resident cat, Kitty.
