Quiet canal-front 3/3 Single-Family Home with Private Pool & Cabana Club Access

Welcome to Blue Heron House. Enjoy and relax in our ground-level 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom private, single-family home which is tucked away in the quiet, safe, and walkable City of Key Colony Beach.
Located on a deep and wide canal with a 75 ft dock (45 ft of boat dockage due to boat lift) and easy access to the Vaca Cut Bridge - both the Atlantic and Gulf, fishing and diving are just minutes away. The dock is equipped with a cutting board, umbrella, and running water.
Our East facing home offers a private heated pool, barbecue, and a fully equipped kitchen. As our guest, you will have access to The Cabana Club which boasts a large pool, hot tub, sandy beach, restaurant, and bar.
The City of Key Colony Beach is a peaceful, walkable community with public tennis, pickle ball, and basketball courts, and a Par 3 golf course. We have kayaks, tennis rackets, pickle ball paddles, and family board games on the premises for your use.
We book Saturday to Saturday, flexible on dates between September and December.

Will Rent Again!
Our family LOVES the Key Colony Beach community and this property had absolutely everything we needed.We have a special needs daughter plus a rambunctious 7 year old boy that's full of energy. Finding a place that caters to both is difficult to find but this place checked all of the boxes.Everything was so well organized and taken care of. Absolutely zero complaints.We can't wait to come back.

Fantastic Stay
This is a lovely home and Helen was the best host we have had in all our years. We have been frequenting Marathon at least annually for 25+ years. In those years, we have had many very good hosts, but Helen's response to our questions was not only incredibly prompt but also very accommodating. The home had everything you need, was very comfortable including the beds and the canal is perfect for boating along with fishing. Perfect place and host. Thanks Helen for making our trip so enjoyable.

AWESOME!!
This was the easiest booking and check in ever! Helen was the perfect host. The place is located on a big canal. There was all kinds of big boats docked along the canal so I feel safe to say that any guest bringing a boat is good to go. We have a 28 ft boat, big trailer and big truck. First VRBO where there wasnt any issue with parking, plenty, plenty of space! The house is very spacious and well equiped. The pool and backyard is great! I will most definitely book this place again! I just wish I could put more people in the house because I'm bringing my whole family back this summer but I need space for 10 people this time. Thank you again Helen!!

Wonderful Stay!
This was a wonderful stay for our family of five (all adults). The house is exactly as advertised and supplied with all that we needed. We enjoyed swimming daily in the pool and caught plenty of fish in this great canal. A nice short walk to Sunset Park (even got to watch the St. Patrick’s Day parade for Key Colony Beach) and a quick hop over to the Cabana Club to enjoy another part of the community. Helen was very helpful anytime we had to reach out. We would love to stay here again for our time in the Keys!

Great Location!

First Extended Winter Stay
We were very happy with our stay at this property. This was our first experience escaping the north for an entire month in the winter and we loved every minute of it. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The house amenities were perfect for hosting family when they visited. The kitchen is well stocked and the patio area is perfect. We have already signed up for another month in 2024!

Cozy and bright vacay home
The home is attractive, bright, and roomy with many windows and a laidback Florida style and decor. The bedrooms are updated Florida style as well as the front living area, dining area which overlooks the pool, kitchen, and TV area.The back yard and pool are on a canal which has some boat activity, but not too much. It’s a well kept and mostly quiet area. The pool is generous in size and warm! We appreciated the kayaks but didn’t use them. There is a nice grill and fishing table and freezer too and a boat lift. We are looking forward to returning.

Christmas in the Keys
Great location, perfect neighbor hood to relax and enjoy the sun. We walked and rented bikes to ride every day. The best location to explore all of the keys. Overall a great vacation.

Wonderful home in wonderful neighborhood
A perfect house for six adults. All three couples had their own bathroom with plenty of privacy. The house was extremely clean and we did not lack anything during our weeklong stay. We used the new grill for the one evening we prepared dinner at the house. We enjoyed our morning walks through Key Colony Beach and the short evening walks to Sunset Beach to view sundown. Nice pool and we had a great time using the house's two kayaks. Helen was extremely responsive to our pre-trip questions and her restaurant recommendations were spot-on. We will certainly rent this house on our next trip to the Florida Keys! Thanks Helen!

Fantastic!
We spent a little over a week here. The location was fantastic! Perfect for a family. Helen was very responsive and wonderful to work with. The access to the cabana club was a big bonus. The pool in the back yard was a ton of fun and the position of the house allowed for shade on the pool in the late afternoon. We fished from the Dock and had an amazing time. Thank you again for everything!

Perfect stay for a week. Couldn’t have asked for more. Property manager was excellent in answering questions. Just a hop to the Atlantic and we were off. Perfect location right by Sunset Beach. Everything we needed in the house. Cabana Club a super plus! We will return.

Absolutely perfect place
This house Was perfect! It was even nicer in person than in the pictures and bigger than we thought. The owners thought of so many little details having laundry baskets, plenty of things in the kitchen, beach chairs to name a few. the kayaks were perfect for the canal. Location was great, walked to sunset beach, cabana club, restaurants. We had a boat at the dock all week so the fish cleaning station was helpful and the kids loved the pool. We cant wait to come back.

Beautiful time
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Blue Heron House. Everything you would need to relax and enjoy Key Colony Beach is right there. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds comfortable and the pool was especially appreciated by our boys. We rented a boat and fished. The dockage was great for a 24’ boat. The fish cleaning station and outside freezer were clean and maintained. We can’t wait to come back! Helen was very easy to communicate with and provided excellent information about the house and area.

Couldn’t have loved it more
We were beyond pleased with our stay!!! The house had everything we needed and we hardly had to leave the community to enjoy ourselves. There was plenty of room for everyone and the outside space and pool made for a relaxing vaca. Helens recommendations were spot on. The house was clean and cozy. We will definitely be back!!!!
