"Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again"

"Communication from owner was prompt from start to finish. The lodge itself is as described and in a lovely quiet setting, ideal base for seeing the north lakes.Lodge had everything you need for your break, local shops are 15minute drive away or pick up what you need on the way home from your day out. If you want a nice peaceful break this is the place. Would recommend."

"The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. "We found the property to be exceptionally well-equipped in every respect except for the lack of Wi-Fi. This was a disappointment for us, and I suggest the Wi-Fi should be removed from the listing if it is not available. We loved our time at the property, especially the walks into Keswick along the river, hill walking and bike rental."
