"This was a good stay, I would love to return as it was a great location for ATV trail access, and a cozy place to come back to for the night. I would recommend a good deep cleaning in this cabin, as there is a cleaning fee within the rate but many dead bugs found in areas of the cabin, and what looked to be mold growing between a couple of the windows. Also the sheets looked like they had not been changed from previous visitors but we brought blankets to throw on over so not a big deal....

"A group of 4 adults were staying here to attend a fundraiser in the area. Easy check in and check out process. The house has amazing views of the lake! One bathroom was challenging but overall we managed. The bottom bunk bed mattress was very comfortable! The beds in the time could be updated but manageable. We enjoyed our stay."

"The guest house is something out of a hgtv dream. The heated floors were amazing on a chilly day. The property is quiet and secluded. This is the perfect quiet place to stay when doing nothing or heading to Duluth or other northern activities. I don't really have a reason to come back to MN, but I want to invent one to come back to this little slice of heaven!"

"Host was incredibly, helpful, communicative and friendly. Not far from Duluth and close to Jay Cook State Park... RV park was quiet and clean, the communal showers were incredibly well taken care of (note; the RV has a clean, working shower we just didn't use it). Overall we had a very pleasant experience. Would stay again. "

"good sized home ,2 bedrooms,good sized kitchen and living room,,quiet location yet near everything.one small problem was communicated with the owner who was unaware of the situation,,yet he promised a fix to happen quickly.....before the next rental was my understading. overall a great place to stay."

"An older camper in a campground of friendly people near a beautiful lake. Apparently there was a communication problem with the groundskeeper regarding the date we would arrive, so our camper wasn't ready when we got there (no hot water or electricity) but it was promptly handled by a phone call. It was fun to stay here!"

"Great place! It was super clean, attractive furnishings, provided everything we needed for cooking, eating, sleeping, bathing and enjoying ourselves while we were there. The friendly owner has done a wonderful job creating this peaceful, comfy place. We plan to return return to enjoy more time relaxing at this quiet hideaway."
