"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"This cottage is a short walk from the town square. The property has grills and a hot tub. There are areas to hang out both indoors and out. The property is fun to explore. Our infant slept soundly in the bedroom while we played cards outside or sat in the hot tub. The hot tub is within range for our video baby monitor. Some board games would be a nice addition to this space. This is a nice spot to relax and would be a great space for gatherings - particularly if you could snag other spots on...

"My family, my son and his friend and my two beautiful grandchildren shared memories of previous trips to the Kern River with my husband at this beautiful home. The river was just steps away to enjoy. The house left nothing to want for. It felt like home. Thank you. Next time a longer stay"

"In the area for a funeral. The cottage gave us lots of room to be together and relax. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows, and plenty of plush bath towels. Kitchen was well-stocked. The unit had some cleanliness issues (dog hair, cobwebs, hair in shower), but otherwise was a perfect stay. "Great place to gather and stay after our daytime adventures around Kernville. We all agreed we'd stay here again anytime!"

"We had such a great time during our stay at this property! Our group consisted of three families coming together with kids of multiple ages. Everyone slept comfortably and there were plenty of beds for all! The kids enjoyed running around the grounds. They loved looking at the horses in the morning, playing on the zip line and taking dips in the hot tub in the evenings! This place is perfectly located within the town of Kernville. Thank you again for all of the fun!"

"Deer on front lawn comfortable space with a responsive host"

"We needed a comfortable place to stay and host a gathering after a funeral for a family member. Great communication with the host and the home was beautiful. Highly rated."

"A group of childhood friends who somehow made it to 60+ got together for a mountain bike adventure in Kernville. This was the perfect location to access everything you need. You could walk to restaurants if you wanted . Peddling up the driveway was tough. It had everything we needed For a group of six old guys. We would have more if there were more beds."

""Room" was a well maintained and comfortable RV. A bit of road noise because of close proximity to major roadway but not really a problem."

"Superior! Beautiful community & surroundings. The room was delightfully furnished with rustic mountain decor. But I’m burying the lede. The staff was friendly and informative. The room was comfortable, blessedly quiet, and immaculately clean. I’ve stayed at hotels at twice the price with fewer amenities and not nearly so spotlessly clean. And the staff recommendation for breakfast across the street was the cherry on top. Delicious! I’d stay at the Sequoia Lodge again in a heartbeat."

Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY. And Im not the picky kind of person. I wikl give one example ( there were others ); inside the dishwasher, there were used dirty plates from someoelse. I rest my case. Would never stay again and do NOT recommend. By the way, we stayed thefe withiut even having checked in. When leaving, again thede was noone there and I just left the key there. It was already paid."
