"1st time at a yurt. The room was nice. The place was in a more secluded area, but not far from highway access. Being far out, there wasn't a sewer system in place, so the toilet system took us off guard. Overall, nice place and staff was great to work with. "

"My family (all 6 of us) loved staying here and would stay again!! Our only regret was staying for only 1 night! The host, John, was fantastic! Anyone who has stayed in Kona, try this place! "Absolutely loved staying here and Jacob and Morena are top notch hosts! We love to get out and about and they were able to suggest some really awesome places to visit. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Such a great vibe and we loved the sound of the frogs at night. If we're ever on the Big Island again we will definitely stay here. ☺️"

"We were making a multi-day road trip around the Big Island and needed a place to stay after a couple of days in Volcanoes NP. We chose the Lava Bus because it was such a unique property. We were so happy we did! It is a bit of a drive to get to any services (around 20 minutes to gas/groceries) but it was an amazing location for seeing the stars at night and enjoying peace and quiet. It felt very remote, but at the same time the bus itself was so well-appointed that it felt somehow luxurious....

"I enjoyed my stay at this VRBO. It was very cozy and pleasant and in a good location. I enjoyed the fact that it was a ways out of the city but still close enough for a convenient drive to stores and restaurants. The host was very pleasant and helpful. "We enjoyed staying at Dragonfly Farm. Hostess was very welcoming! Beautiful avocado farm with chickens & goats & cat! We loved the attached backyard deck for morning & night hangout, beautiful views! And florally fragrant air was unbelievable. Kitchen is well equipped for meal making. It’s a 1 bedroom as bunk beds are in main room. King bed was very comfortable! Host and hostess share beach chairs, masks, towels are convenience- perfect!
