"We were very happy with the accommodations. The cottage was neat, clean and well kept, as was the property. All the amenities were as described. We had a great weekend and would highly recommend this lake house."

"The property was lovely. There were extra towels and very well stocked kitchen supplies. My only complaint was the overwhelming odor after someone used the fireplace. I wish there was something to neutralize the smokey odor. Also it would be nice to have a tv in the bedrooms. At least a tv in the master bedroom. I would stay here again. "

"The cabin was great! Exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basic cooking instruments and utensils. We had a blast and would absolutely come back."

"The house is beautifully appointed with an incredible view of the lake ! The backyard was a perfect place to gather with family and have an amazing view. The owners are so responsive! Great beds and linens. Everything you need for a peaceful cozy oasis. "

"Four of us celebrating having or soon to turn 40. House was amazing - I understand some of the comments about the steep hill down to the water, but that did not stop us (use the driveway, don't go down the grass!). Communication with the host was fantastic, the house was in great shape, and there are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. We all agreed it's one of the best houses that we've rented. "

"This beautiful home offered plenty of space for our family of 6 adults and 2 children to enjoy a week together. "

"The host was very kind and responsive, which we truly appreciated. However, the house was not properly cleaned. There were a lot of flies inside, the basement had a strong musty smell, and the hot tub water was untreated and had a bad odor, With better cleaning, maintenance, and care for the house the stay could have been much more pleasant."

"This cozy cottage is exactly as listed and so much more! It is very spacious inside and was immaculate. The hostess left us waters and snacks which was a nice touch when we arrived. The firepit was so nice to enjoy on a chilly night. The house was situated very close to White Memorial Conservation Center and to downtown Litchfield. It was simply perfect and we will definitely be back."

"We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway."
