"My husband and I, both seniors, accompanied out adult daughter and her 9 y/o granddaughter to Ann Arbor. Our granddaughter spent several days at the UM gymnastics camp. Ann Arbor is easily accessible to the cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean. Anything you could need is there for you and your family. Our daughter and granddaughter enjoyed fishing off the dock -- lots of blue gills, bass, and catfish -- catch and release. Lots of fun! Our host was very easy to...

"Our family group of 15 had a great time! The kids and adults enjoyed the game room, puzzles, and hot tub. We were pleasantly surprised at how nicely stocked the house was with towels, bedding and toiletries. Between the 2 dinning tables and bar area there was plenty of room during meal times for everyone. Kids fished off the doc, the kayaks were a hit, the grill was clean when we went to use it!! Great yard to play games!! LOVED this place! "

"Beautiful view across lake to park! Clean house and plenty of amenities! Huge plus to staying here as a family was having three bedrooms so everyone had their own room and 2 and a half bathrooms! Would highly recommend this place! Only thing is to be careful if sitting in the rocking chairs outside by the fire pit… they look pretty but we sat in one and leaned back to relax and the chair filled over backwards!"

"We stayed during our daughter’s graduation. Away from crowds and cute lake. Nice small grocery nearby. The cottage was comfortable for sleeping and relaxing. The only inconvenience we found was that it’s on well water and it’s quite rusty. We bought water for drinking and brushing teeth. We did shower, but our daughter who has very sensitive skin was a bit bothered by it. Just something to be aware of. Great host and very easy to communicate with. Would be a great place for summer, we were there...

"Really nice cabin! We took a gamble as it does not list AC (and it ended up being 90 degrees when we were there!) but luckily there was a small window AC that worked wonderfully to cool the whole cabin down, so don’t be concerned about a lack of central AC. My only critique it it had a mild smell of smoke however the cabin itself still gets 5 stars as I think the guest in the next attached cabin was smoking but that is not the fault of the property. No smoking is posted everywhere."
