" Visiting family and friends and this B&B was halfway between them so ideal for us. Excellent host who made us feel very welcome. Spacious room and extremely comfortable bed. "The property could do with a little modernisation, however, we went for it because of cost, and convenience. We couldn't check in till we arrived which was half past midnight and the staff were very understanding and checked us in cheerfully!!! I was rather embarrassed that we were so late, but she was so nice. We were very tired, but, you can't sleep in a bad bed even when tired - So, the beds were great and we slept like a log!!!! The bed was clean, comfy and no issues at all...

"Check in was so easy as there wasn’t any! Not sure how safe leaving the door open was, but it worked. Suppose it saves on paying reception staff! The goat was a bit of a surprise, and he did welcome us! On a negative, the room was very noisy due to the water system running through the radiators and pipes. But served a purpose for a short stay due to an early morning flight."
