We recently finished the lowest level of our home into this awesome private living space!

Orange Room*
Starting with finished concrete floors, a dining area with kitchen, (we do not have a built-in oven, but there is a toaster oven and microwave), counter top electric stove, apartment size refrigerator with top freezer, plenty of cabinets and counter space.

Large bathroom with dresser/mirror, shower and vanity.

Comes furnished with a comfy couch, lazy boy recliner, 55" flat screen tv (includes Directv Netflix HBO and you can hook up your laptop to the HDMI 2 input).

Sleeping arrangements start with the "pull down from the wall" Murphy bed (Queen size) sleeps two. Comfy couch will sleep one. Maximum accommodations: 3 guests.

Blueroom* We just added even more living space with the completion of our added master bedroom the "Blue room". If you need extra sleeping space or you just want to splurge a little more this is the Add-on for you. This beautifully furnished giant bedroom has a queen size bed with ample seating space, giant wall tapestries, a door to outdoor seating amongst the trees for coffee on a hanging bench swing. All this can be added to your stay for an additional nightly rate of $30.00 per night.
Maximum accommodations: 2 guests.


This space (The blue room*)will be locked off for those who just want the original (orange room*) for a lower price.

Private Key-pad door entry for safety and convenience.

Please note: To get to your space, this requires a bit of a hike down hill, with stepping stones. This unit may not be suitable for some older guests or handicapped. Itā€™s a hike down, then a hike back up the hill.

Our parking is limited to one (1) car. Strictly enforced unless previously arranged.

The place was amazing. It was a special week for my son and I and this place made it that much better. Clean, accurate description, VERY soothing and relaxing, and easy to our destinations. Quick hello with hosts and they were super polite. Wish I k ew ahead of time I couldā€™ve brought my service animal, but thatā€™s on me for not paying attention. He will come next time. Nice accommodations and Pleasant Hosts

We arrived at dusk on a stormy Saturday, and it was difficult to get down the side yard into the apartment. The pavers are not equally spaced or necessarily level (would be difficult to do these things), and we struggled to get down the probably 20 steps in the pouring rain. Climbing those pavers was difficult and taxing too. I definitely would suggest some lighting on that side yard for guests. The apartment was very nice, especially since we included the "blue room." There is no oven, but we used the small toaster oven to bake some cinnamon rolls for Sunday morning. There was ice already made in the freezer which was nice. The small fenced area would be excellent for dogs; we didn't bring ours this time, but it's nice to know about. We met the owner on Sunday afternoon, and she was very nice. I would recommend this place; however, if someone has mobility issues or physical limitations, I would definitely caution against it. We are in our 70s, and the climb up those pavers was tough. We appreciate their hospitality.

Great place to stay!

Stayed 4 nights in February. Was very comfortable, clean, private, and accommodating. Had a small fenced in yard/area that was perfect for our Goldendoodle! Kim was very nice. Would stay there again!

This was a cute and quiet place that felt safe. I had back surgery a couple months ago, so I was expecting reals steps. The hill climb was hard for me due to that & I would suggest better lighting in the dark to see the stones/steps.

First of all, nowhere does it accurately describe the RIDICULOUS hike down the hill to get to the apt! It is TWO FLIGHTS with uneven paver steps and NO handrail! (It's a sub-basement apt.) There are a few lights but not nearly enough for safety. When I mentioned this to the owner, she said "That's why we say in our ad that this isn't appropriate for "elderly" or "handicapped" people... (I'm about the same age as she is so no, I am NOT elderly OR handicapped and I didn't see that at all) I told her she might do well to put in a staircase with a rail but she didn't want to hear it. OK, well it's a lawsuit waiting to happen-that's all I'm saying! While drying my hair I had a huge cobweb fall on me. Yeah, clean a little more deeply next time! Several places the wallpaper was peeling and there were huge gaps in the weatherstriping--if there was any--under the door to the "patio". The beds were comfortable, of course although I clearly stated there were 3 adults, she decided not to mention that the second bedroom was extra. Did she think one of us would be comfortable on the small sofa in the living room? So the regular rental is a Murphy bed and a 5 ft non-sofabed sofa. NOT what I signed up for at all! When I called about this, she tried to push the extra fee on me and then gave up and threw it in. Parking was ridiculous! She actually asked if we'd move over 4 inches so she could fit a 3rd car onto their 2 car drive. Never again!

Nice Place

It was a very nice place, clean and in the perfect little piece of nature. The only thing missing was laundry facilities but there is a very nice laundry mat right down the road. Was a perfect place to relax after hot days at the ballpark for a tournament. It was nice and cool and the little outside area is shaded. Loved our stay, great communication with the owners.

Remarkable location and very cozy and convenient. Online states 2 bedroom and when you arrive it is one and the other is locked and you have to pay extra for the other bedroom. I could not get in touch with property owner until after the 6th attempt (@9:00pm). She was very pleasant and extremely understanding with the information I gave her and ultimately assisted with adding the second bedroom at no charge. Overall, Satisfied.

Great Stay in a quiet secure neighborhood.

Had a great stay with a family of four. We did opt for the additional room which made it more than roomy enough for the four of us. The area is a quiet and well maintained neighborhood and we had zero issues with noise or other distractions. Parking is tight but that is spelled out in the listing and it is a walk down a hill to get to the unit so be prepared. It was not an issue for us. There are no laundry facilities on site and the closest laundromats are a wreck so if you need to do laundry you'll be inconvenienced. I missed the no laundry on the listing so not the hosts fault. It would be nice though to add that feature. While there is a kitchen there is no oven other than a toaster oven and there is no outside grill, an easy fix for the host, which limits your cooking options. All in all a great stay and we would stay again.

Pretty clean

The overall apartment was a finished basement requiring 38 steps down and up a steep slope to access. There is no handrail! The apartment was clean by Vrbo standards. I have to say the mirrors and the glass pictures and the TV screen could all use a good cleaning. The kitchen lacked some necessary items, but I didnā€™t need them because I ate out the whole time. The owners were apparently there for the weekend, but were never visible. However, on Sunday morning around 11:30 AM, someone decided to take a Jacuzzi bath and the LOUD noise was quite disturbing. I owned a VRBO for 6 years and I stayed at several myself throughout the world. I gave this place a five out of 10 based upon its location, and itā€™s ability to access the apartment. I do hope the owners have a good insurance policy, because there was a 30 foot drop from the stairway into the gully beside the steppingstone walkway down to the apartment with no safety measures in place.

Disappeared

The owner asked what time we would arrive and I told her between 4:00 - 6:00. We arrived at 4:00 And the place was not ready. So we carried our stuff down the 2 sections of the hill that had about 20 ā€œstepsā€ each. The steps were concrete blocks, some are partially covered with grass and gravel and no handrail to hang onto if you lose your balance. Very dangerous, especially when you are carrying things up or down. So instead of changing clothes and cleaning up a little we had to meet friends as we were.
