"We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."

"It’s very rare that I can get all 10 of my bunch together but whenever I can it’s always a LARGE time! This place was just perfect for our needs and hopefully I can wrangle my herd up again soon for another great Canton shopping spree! "

"Cabin was absolutely gorgeous and view was amazing to the pond. My only complaint is the wifi, I did try to do some work during my stay and it was unusable. Even trying to stream movies didn't work. But it was very relaxing and if they fix the wifi i would definitely recommend. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Loved the size of the kitchen but the dishwasher didn’t seem to work very well. The Keurig didn’t work but thankfully we brought our own. The backyard was enjoyable. We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. There were 7 of us that stayed and we didn’t think there was enough comfortable seating in the living room. Just one small couch and 2 chairs. The game room was fun...

"We just needed a weekend away to plan, make decisions, and not be distracted by responsibilities at home. We also wanted to take some time at First Monday. This house was perfect. It was very nice, clean and comfortable. It had a homey feel. It was a quiet neighborhood. We'd walk to the park and sit by the lake. First Monday was not far. We enjoyed our day very much. "

"This was an excellent property for our family gathering. The house has great views of the lake and a large back yard with a fire pit. The house has an open design and this allowed all of our guests to visit while some cooked. There are 4 bedrooms in the main house and a bunk house, so we had many good options for sleeping. The manager responded quickly to all of our questions and comments making us feel like we were a top priority. We had no problems with the house. The neighborhood was...

The only issue, and it's not the owner's fault, but we brought our dogs, and the dogs across the road were running loose almost the whole time, so we had to keep our dogs on the deck whenever we were outside. "We had an amazing Christmas at this beautiful property. The owners/property manager were beyond helpful and kind - even having a Christmas tree assembled for us.
