Everything Close by Walk Out Suite 1 Minute to the Lake

If you are looking for a good spot to explore Kelowna with your family or as a single, this is it! Two minutes to Strathcona Beach Park. Lots of other beaches, shopping, restaurants all within walking. 10-15 Minutes by walk to marina, city beach park, breweries, shopping and just 1 minute to the hospital! 12 minutes drive to Costco! The suite has its own private entry, free street parking, a lovely garden that you are welcome to enjoy, and lots of walking trails nearby.

This gem of a fully furnished walk out guest suite is the perfect place to call home especially for family vacations. It can accommodate up to 5 people. (4 adults or 2 adults 3 kids). The residence features an open-concept layout, a calming interiors and chic furnishings. This quiet and calm suite offers tranquility and peace in this home-away-from-home. Park in your own car pad, cook in a well-equipped kitchen, sleep on a queen bed and on a king size connected futon. There is also a washer-dryer, optimal for longer stays.
Quiet and mature neighborhood, this home is beautifully decorated for your enjoyment. Fully outfitted kitchen, BBQ, patio and back yard will ensure you a have a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Great place, close to beach!
The place was very nice and a great location. The host was helpful and quick to reply. Only complaint is the sofa beds are not very comfortable so I wouldn’t want to sleep on them for more than a couple nights.

This lovely suite was designed to enjoy the evening on the deck surrounded by grape 🍇 vines and flowers Inside had a stocked kitchen, restful living room with a relaxing bedroom We slept 3 adults comfortably on the fold down futons and an air mattress for or granddaughter while grandpa and I had a comfortable queen size bed Access to the beach was 5 min if that and lovely sandy park beach 🏖️ 2 min more Son could pull up the speed boat 🚤 right on the shore Delicious restaurants just minutes down the road Hectors Casa Mexican was divine Truly this little abode was a smash 💥 Thank you so much for a enjoyable time

Superb property close to lake and beach and short walk to centre
We had a wonderful stay here, visiting our son who lives nearby. The accommodation itself is immaculate, very clean and spacious and well kitted out. The owner lives next door and was extremely helpful. It's just a couple of minutes walk to a few different areas of beach and around 20-25 minutes walk to all the bars and restaurants in the centre. Highly recommended.

Overall, the facility is ok. Yes, it is within walking distance of downtown but be prepared it's a 20-minute walk. The overall outside appearance of the facility and yard could use some tender loving care. VRBO and owner are difficult to deal with when it comes to cancellation of your reservation due to the wildfire situation.

Beautiful accommodation that’s close to downtown, the waterfront and the hospital. The host was very friendly and quick to respond with any questions/concerns we had. Place was neat and tidy that we felt very much at home. My only suggestions would be to include ground coffee (not instant) for the coffee maker and maybe change the futon to maybe a couch with a pull out? (the futons were a bit hard on the back to sleep on but a mattress topper may alleviate this). Overall, highly recommend this place…thank you!

Beautiful Kelowna
Great location. It was a nice walk to the lake or to the downtown shops and restaurants. Although close to the hospital it was quiet. Nice verandah and gardens. Parking was provided. Only issue was that we weren’t able to get the oven working but there was an air fryer/ toaster oven that we used instead. Lots to do in Kelowna- great wineries, hiking, biking and restaurants.

Everything was fine except the oven didn’t work. Asked the host about it and he said he knew it didn’t work but supplied a countertop oven in its place. I hosted a dinner for 8 people so that option wasn’t feasible. Otherwise…great location and very clean

Perfect Place to Stay
This Vrbo couldn't have been any better. We were sent the address and entrance key info a couple days in advance. It looks exactly as pictured and the kitchen has every need covered - even an air fryer! The washer/dryer worked very well-no issues. It is a five minute walk to a small but very nice beach that also has a grassy area with some playground equipment. It is also 5-7 minutes away by car to the wonderful downtown/cultural district - great restaurants, walks along the lake, public art/statues. Really all excellent. If I had to suggest any improvements, we felt that the mattress was a bit soft - although we did sleep well- and the bathroom could use a couple hooks to hang towels, bathrobe, etc. We highly recommend this Vrbo and would happily stay there again!

Great location
We had a great stay in this unit. We are a family of five, so my kids stayed on the futons - my daughters shared one, and my son had the other. They slept very well (all linens needed were provided), but it would maybe not be so comfortable for an adult to sleep. It worked well for our situation. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The location was amazing, in a great neighbourhood. It was right across from the hospital, but surprisingly quiet, with a beautiful yard, closed in by fences and gardens. Our patio was perfect for eating and card games, with a great shade screen, and my 8 year old loved the deluxe swing set. It is close (even a long-ish walking distance or quick bike ride) to both Gyro beach (the one with the zip line into the water) in one direction, and City beach and downtown in the other direction. Plus Strathcona beach is a less than 5 minute walk. The owners live in the main house (the rented unit is a separate side of the house with its own entrance and patio) so we did see them around outside occasionally - they were very nice and we did not feel our privacy was compromised. The owner was extremely responsive both during the booking and during the stay. The kitchen was small but had what was needed for cooking meals (there is no barbecue, so we made good use out of the stovetop). We would recommend this accommodation and would stay again the next time we are in Kelowna!

We absolutely loved our stay in Kelowna. The place is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It's a nice walk to downtown Kelowna and mins to the beach. Unfortunately, there are no stores or restaurants really near by if you need anything. But overall it was really excellent, and we'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.
