"Our stay was truly exceptional. At The Crater's Edge is beautiful and serene allowing us to fully relax and unwind. Our hosts, Chris and Eric, were outstanding in their attention to detail. "We had a fabulous stay and absolutely loved the cabin's lanais, all the natural light, the kitchen, propane fireplace, open concept, and wood features. The cabin was easy to get to and the access road is well maintained. We enjoyed cooking dinners every night and even enjoyed some cocktails out on the lanai using the stemware provided. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"The house is comfortable with ample rooms. The bathrooms are unique. Location was perfect, near the beach, not far from great farmers markets. Nearby Sea View has a lot of local entertainment. We enjoyed the evening frogs and morning roosters. The owners dog is very sweet."

"The location, the ambiance and peacefulness exceeded my expectations a hundred fold! But what truly made the stay so fantastic was how my wife and I were treated like ohana! There was a sadness to leaving because Rochelle (Celle) became our extended family! We plan on strengthening the wonderful way we were treated! Beautiful memories were made! Mahalo nui loa!"

"We had a great stay. Pictures represent the property well. The place is about 20 minutes from Pahoa city-center (if that’s helpful). Met Sean who shared some insights about the area and local cuisine. Ashley was great at communicating and checking in with us via VRBO messages. Overall we had a really nice time in the area and were grateful to have a peaceful place to stay as we explored this side of the Island."

"Really enjoyed my four nights here. Everything was perfect! Immaculate to say the least. Quiet and private. Stars out every morning, brilliant! Wasn’t expecting the weather, but it was stunning! Can’t wait to return! Washer and dryer very handy. "

"Overall, it was a good stay, and I would stay here again. The view and sounds of the ocean were amazing as promised. The beds were comfortable, which is a huge priority for me. The location is not super convenient to activities, but it is a quiet neighborhood. The only major complaint for us was the living room furniture. Every piece was uncomfortable and falling apart. There was no really comfortable place to sit together and chat. "
