"We absolutely loved our stay at the Highland Cottage. The check in process could not have been easier, we were greeted to such a clean space with homemade cookies waiting for us. "Check-in and Check-out are a breeze! Dorothy, the host, is extremely friendly and welcoming. The cottage is perfectly cozy and has everything you need for a wonderful stay! The shower is a little small, but gets the job done. You don't visit the mountains to stay in the shower anyway. The bed is incredibly comfortable and feels like sleeping on a cloud! An added perk to this beautiful bungalow is that Stewart's is right next door, so creamy, delicious ice cream is seconds away! "

"Property is just as described. Was in a perfect location between Whiteface and Lake Placid. My boyfriend and son loved being able to fish right behind the house (trail is steep but well marked). The hot tub was amazing! The little supermarket is definitely little so if you’re arriving later at night I would recommend brining any food stuff you may need for the next morning with you (coffee!).
