"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. "This home is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay here. Upon entering, every room is very clean and tidy. We brought our bicycles and were pleased to find a storage room at the back of the home where we could store them.The kitchen had everything you would need, including lots of dishes, glasses, mugs, etc. and also had a nice coffee maker that uses a filter & ground coffee (both were provided).There was an appliance instruction booklet since there was not a conventional stove. "Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use.
