"Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine chez Zacharias ; la maison était formidable et idéalement placée pour visiter les deux cotés de l'île. Quiétude totale dans sur le hauteurs de la Crète, mais assez proche toute fois des plages et des commerces. Et que dire de notre hôte qui nous aura accueilli avec un diner 100% préparé maison, tout ce qu'il faut pour le 1er petit déjeuner, et nous aura même offert un petit souvenir au moment du départ. Bref : une réussite totale ; merci Zacharias."

"Das Haus befindet sich auf einem sehr großen abgeschlossenem Gelände mit 3 weiteren Häusern. Die Häuser sind dann nochmals in einzelne Grundstücke aufgeteilt. Die Anlage befindet sich mehrere 100m über dem Meeresspiegel. Man hat von den Balkonen einen Wahnsinnsausblick über das Tal bis in die Berge. Die Anfahrt dorthin ist über die Serpentinen und kleineren Dörfer beim 1. mal sehr abenteuerlich aber auch super interessant. "This is a great home for a family or group of friends. The view from the pool and terrace is exceptional and the local town has some really great restaurants. It is a beautiful home, well located to explore this great island!! I can't say enough about Joanna, her communication with us was exceptional. She gave us great recommendations and was kind enough to leave us supper for our late arrival. We were so lucky to have met her as well. I will be back :)"

A car is necessary to get to and from the property and can be recommended as a base. "We thought the place was charming. The location is perfect. It's on the street right behind the main street so not as crowded and situated in the middle of other shops and apartments. Be prepared for stairs though. We actually kept our suitcases on the main floor vs the bedrooms. Also, the street is not driveable after 11am. Google maps put us on the street at 10:30 pm. Yikes. But it was all good. We got free parking at the Marina the whole time."
