One of a Kind-Get Away/Big Cypress Bayou Near Jefferson&Caddo

One of a kind retreat for small families, a romantic get away for two, or fishing/hunting lodge.

This property is built over Big Cypress Bayou river which is 3.3 miles from CADDO Lake, 10 minutes from Historic Jefferson, 20 minutes from old money oil town of Marshall, AND 30 minutes from the wide awake Casino town of Shreveport, LA.

The River House is on a private road which lends to peace and tranquility. Great access to the river for amazing water skiing, jet skiing, and boating awaits. If you're not into water sports, fish all day right off the covered deck. If you have a boat, there is a ramp within 100 yards of the house, and lots of great little fishing holes along the river and back into the cypress forest.

The River House has an outdoor grill. A bonfire is always fun in the cooler months, so sit back relax and enjoy the blaze in the fire pit steps from the house.

The River house is within 10 miles by boat or car to 8,000 acres of public hunting land: deer, squirrel, hog, duck, turkey, and alligator to name a few. You must have a TX hunting license and Type 2 permit. Also, be prepared to follow all TX game and wildlife laws for Marion and Harrison County.

We promise you will not be disappointed with the discovery of this off the beaten path cabin of solitude and good times!

Fun Get Away

Was a good place to stay and get away.I hated not having a working bbq pit! There was lots of boats and jet skis racing up and down so that was aggravating while trying to fish. Coach was very friendly but I didn't like the fact that he lives there while its not rented. has his belongings

This is a great place to stay on Big Cypress Bayou/Caddo Lake. It is so peaceful and the Cypress trees are beautiful! Coach checked in on us daily to see if we needed anything.

Cozy comfort

Very nice. Loved the carport (it kept us dry when loading up), the covered back patio with fishing pole stands, and the overall interior decor. The bed was very comfy. Being that this was Memorial day weekend, the boat traffic was heavy and loud, but inside it was noticibly quieter. The only drawbacks were having only one light in the bedroom and no nightstands. Having a side lamp next to the couch would be nice for reading.

This place was perfect for our little kayakung trip. The trail through, and to, Clear Lake was definitely our favorite. The location was perfect and the property as advertised. Caddo Lake State Park was close by, just a short drive away.

Weekend getaway for our anniversary. Randy is an awesome host and answered all my questions quickly. Coach is a treasure! Made sure we had what we needed. The kayak was a blast! We will definitely book another stay there!

This fishing cabin is perfect!

Holy cow! This place is unreal! My husband had fishing polls in the water before we had the car unpacked, and they were the last thing to get packed when we left! Pictures just don't do it justice! The house is pretty standard, but it was perfect for us. The check in process was so smooth, and Coach was wonderful! We will be back for sure!was wonderful! He

We had the most fun and relaxing stay than any other vacation rental we have stayed. A wonderful host always available if you need him. Great Spot

We brought our two grandsons to this unique and wonderful property. They had so much fun kayaking and fishing off the porch. Although with the rain, we didnā€™t catch any fish, we still explored the hidden lake and other places up the river. The cabin was clean and the perfect size for our needs. Coach was awesome and so very friendly and helpful. Weā€™ll be back to visit this place again!

Relaxing getaway

This property is very well looked after. The house is beautiful,there was allot of thought put into getting this place put together. Lots of personality, spacious, very comfortable, and feels like home as soon as you walk in. The back deck is very comfortable and relaxing,great for sitting and watching the water,fishing,laying out, cooking or just listening to the birds. This place has everything a person would need. It was so amazing! The best hide away spot ever! Coach was the best! He was sweet, kind, caring and super funny and helpful! We will definitely come back as soon as possible and the cost of it all was not bad for a beautiful place like that. We loved it so much and didn't even wanna come home!
