Welcome to "The Seashore Hideaway", a beautiful 2nd floor oceanfront condo with stunning and expansive close-up views of the ocean. Located at Wailua Bay View, in unit #208. You will hear the mesmerizing sound of the ocean from the minute you open the front door. Walk inside, and the living room sliding glass doors ahead will open up to the private outdoor lanai (balcony) and the vast ocean will be right in front of you.

This small condo complex provides peace and serenity and a great place to rest and relax. We are located centrally on the island, in the town of Kapaa, on the gorgeous and lush Hawaiian island of Kauai! This is a well cared for and beautifully furnished condo, decorated in the teal colors of the ocean with gorgeous Hawaiian and beach decor, including beautiful artwork from a local photographer.

Our condo includes a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable California king sized bed, air conditioned bedroom, free WiFi, 55" television with soundbar in living room, 42" television in bedroom, sound proof double-pane windows in bedroom for quiet and privacy, binoculars for viewing turtles and whales, beach chairs, beach umbrella, picnic/beach cooler, snorkel fins, barbecue grills, swimming pool, free guest treats (including chocolates and chips) and free parking. Our spectacular and calming piece of paradise will not disappoint!

Enjoy the vacation of your dreams with breathtaking and unobstructed views of the ocean! Rest and relaxation awaits you! Sit on the spacious lanai and listen to the ocean waves, enjoy the gorgeous sunrise, take a stroll on the sandy beach below you, or lounge by the cozy pool. Centrally located on Kauai's Coconut Coast, walking distance to local restaurants and many shops, and close to kayaking on the Wailua River, hiking at the Sleeping Giant trails, and swimming, snorkeling, and picnicking at Lydgate Beach Park. Easy drive to beautiful Poipu Beach where you can also snorkel and often find giant sea turtles resting and sunning themselves. Here is where you can also find the endangered Hawaiian monk seal occasionally resting as well.

Our central location on the coast means shorter day trips to the north and south sides of the island. While in Kauai, you can enjoy snorkeling, swimming, fishing, sailing, hiking, scuba diving, helicopter tours, and see the famous and spectacular Napali Coast. Our condo is conveniently located only 10-15 minutes from Lihue Airport. Coscto, Walmart, Target, and Safeway grocery store all 5-15 minutes away. The entire property is non-smoking. No pets allowed. Loved this location!
The property is amazing! Sounds of the surf and stunning views abound! But we especially loved the location, which was located strategically between south and north sides of the island. Very close to shopping and restaurants which made quick decisions very easy. Thank you for playing a huge part of our memorable experience!!

Room to relax
We were very happy with the size of the condo--room to relax. The private lanai was wonderful, the beach view never got old. Marvis was a great resource for nearby recommendations, and she left us a spotless condo to move into. The Wailua River is just down the street and accessing kayaking was easy--same with the Sleeping Giant. A very nice stay. The heavy traffic did make it hard to get around, but that's the price for being in the middle.

Great location
Your right in the middle of many site seeing locations. Loved Lydgate beach! View is gorgeous (a little close to the main Hyway. Needs air conditioning for the whole condo, not just the bedroom. Hosts were great!

Great beach views
This place is amazing! The location and views are unbeatable. The only downsides are the place was a little hard to keep cool and the floors were a little dirty. We eventually figured out a good system to keep it a little cooler and there is AC for the bedroom only at night. Overall it is a great place to stay with many of the comforts of home.

Beach front condo with a great view
Beautiful and relaxing view. Nothing better than going to sleep and waking to the sounds of the ocean. The condo is well maintained and nicely decorated. We will definitely come back again.

Seashore paradise!
Beautiful condo right on the beach! Clean and beautifully decorated. Full kitchen with everything you would need to cook. Comfortable king size bed with air conditioning unit in room for cooler climate for sleeping. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels all available for a fun day at the beach, oh and snorkeling gear. Excellent communication with host’s, Regina and Scott. Eastern shore location perfect for touring Southern and Northern shores easily. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Overall a wonderfully experience! We will definitely come back to this parade on the beach!

Amazing experience!
We had an amazing experience. It was super clean and well located. The view of the ocean is amazing and from the living room you can only see the ocean which feels like a cruise ship. Will definitely stay again. Make sure you try the bakery across the street.

Perfect Getaway
Exactly as described, everything met our needs. Enjoyed meals on the lanai watching surfers, turtles, and sunrises. Great location, 30 minutes either way led to great activities. Amazing breeze from front and back of condo/building. Appreciates the ceiling fans and other fans available. Enjoyed dinner at Coconut Market and bringing it back to to the condo as well. Great place for souvenirs as well. Owners were communicative and gave great instructions. Absolutely would recommend.

Enjoyed our stay
This condo is in a very convenient location. We loved watching the sunrises and surfers from the lanai. The kitchen is well supplied for preparing any meal. There are beach chairs, umbrella and even snorkel gear. We drove into Lihue several times and made very good use of Lydgate Beach Park, which is close. The only caviat is the lack of central air conditioning; there is an air conditioner in the bedroom, but the bedroom door must be kept closed when it is on. It was hot and humid early in our visit, and while the many fans were appreciated, the only cool air was in the bedroom. Traffic is busy close to the condo complex entrance, so you have to adjust your driving pattern to find the best way to make a left hand turn. All in all, this is a wonderful condo, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Everything about this condo was “as advertised.” Right on the ocean. Beautiful views. An easy walk to restaurants and shops. And the place has everything including beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and a small beach cooler. I’d 100% stay there again!

Absolutely wonderful! Our best stay yet at Wailua Bay View
We've stayed at this location on two previous visits to Kauai. However, Regina and Scott were the absolute best and I'm so glad we came upon their listing. The units at WBV are all very similar but it was the little things that made this unit so special. They welcomed us with tasty treats upon arrival and had the perfect amenities to make our stay so easy. We loved having the beach chairs, umbrella, and mini cooler ready for us...which we used every single day of our stay. Of course, the lanai and views at WBV are spectacular and we especially loved the location of this unit, being right at the top of the center stairs (2nd floor) closest to the ocean with no obstruction from other units on the sides. I believe what I appreciated most was the communication with the owners. They communicated so well every step along the way. This is a problem we've had with other WBV owners. I had started by looking at the newly renovated unit right next door and had messaged the owner three times through VRBO, with NO RESPONSE at all. Then, the last time we stayed at WBV, there was potential severe weather coming and we reached out to the owners about any special care we should take with the room if the weather hit. After a delayed response, that owner didn't even know they owned the unit we were staying in. On the contrast, Regina and Scott were absolutely involved and quickly responded to all messages. It was an amazing anniversary trip and we would definitely choose this unit again!

Great location
This small condo was perfect for us. We loved our water view. While the constant sounds of waves seemed loud at first, we quickly adapted to it and found it to be soothing. Highly recommend visiting Waimea Canyon for its spectacular views. The Kauai National Tropical Botanic Garden tour, while pricey, was fabulous and a highlight for us. Nearby Lyndgate Park was a lovely beach with opportunities for protected swimming but also had access to the open ocean. It was not nearly as crowded as Poipu Beach and had some shade opportunities.

The ocean view is amazing here!
The owners were very on top of things when we had a few minor issues. The location is very close to some outstanding restaurants, a local grocery and drug store, and coffee shops and gift stores. The Island is small, so navigating it and going to amazing sights is very doable. I can still see and hear the sound of the ocean at night when I go to sleep.

We had a bit of trouble finding it since the listing says Wailua House Lots and the actual sign on the property says Wailua Bay View. A great marketplace with shops and restaurants within walking distance, and a gorgeous view.
