The hotel in Kansas that Expedia booked us at (and sent us a confirmation for at the Kansas location) had gone out of business, thereby necessitating us to book a hotel on our own in Emporia, Kansas. "It was clean, and perfect size. I like the location, on the quiet street. I like the customer service, they were so nice and helpful. I would come back to this hotel for weekend trip again. "

"The room was extra spacious and the beds were comfortable. The carpet was stained, torn and in bad shape. Things seemed clean overall. The breakfast selection was good and the fridge had a separate freezer which was amazing for ice packs. Overall, it was a nice stay, but the carpets were definitely in need of replacing."
