"The staff was very friendly and very courteous. And I mean all the staff. The desk clerk loaned me a adapter so I could charge my phone which made me feel really good about the place. It was also clean and they had a good breakfast the next morning. I would recommend it for a short stay because it's far away from most other things except the airport. "

All communication regarding check-in and check-out was handled smoothly via WhatsApp. The responses were very quick, and they provided clear instructions along with a helpful PDF guide with images. Thanks to that, I was able to check in and out without any issues. Unfortunately, I did spot a few cockroaches when I woke up in the morning, which was disappointing. "We had an overnighter at Sama Sama as part of a wider Malaysia trip. We needed a convenient airport hotel while in transit between Penang and Borneo and so pleased with picked thIs one. We arrived too late to use any of the facilities such as the outdoor pool but we were very pleased with our Premier room. The Premier lounge is fantastic with lovely food (sushi, canapes, salad, cheese) and a very generous drink service (beer, cocktails, wine). Unfortunately we left too early to enjoy breakfast...
