The property has interesting books on Canadian history - fun ones as well such as Saloons and scoundrels. Great hospitality provided by hosts!"

"A nice little place to stay in Kamloops. Nothing fancy, but met the needs of my friends and I for a few days. Can be a tad loud upstairs at early morning hours, as well as road and train noise so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. "We are a mixed ball team made up of two families. The place is perfect for families (great friends) who want to all stay tougher on a trip! An older house that has been updated and obviously taken care of. Janice was very easy to communicate with! Thank you for hosting!"

"Such a beautiful property. Fully gated backyard and a gate between the yard and the water. Lots of yard games and the kayaks were great! The water was wonderful and the lake was calm and peaceful. Well stocked home with wonderful character in the decor. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Our only downside was that it was obvious that this is a very dog friendly home. Lots of dog hair around despite the unit appearing quite clean. This wasn’t a huge issue for us but...

The uphill jaunt to the place is what provides this space its great views - we often had our morning coffees outside and spent our evenings looking out at the city lights. Inside there is a ton of space that was more than enough for four adults to move and lounge. Two nice size beds with large closets. There is limited furniture in the bedrooms and only two hangers in the closet so we lived out of our suit cases on the ground. There is one dresser in each...

But that’s probably us in the fact that we would always treat the rental as if it were our own home and leave it as we found it ! otherwise no problems would recommend if staying in Kamloops ."

"We stayed for 4 nights at this nice clean place. It was great and we were able to have a group over for pizza party with our dance group, lots of dishes to serve, blender for drinks, and kids could be out in yard. AC was much needed with the +40C weather. Owner was also kind enough to give us a late check out as we weren’t able to leave till early afternoon. So appreciated! Thanks for a memorable Kamloops visit!"

"Great communiction with the host! Pat is forgiving, patient, personable and kind. I had a minor fender bender with a small tree at the driveway entrance, and luckily transport to Emergency was not needed. Ha! The only one VERY minor inconvenience was a brief WiFi outage, but a work-around was offered promptly, and there was a brief late-night power outage as I was packing for my morning departure. Power was back up within minutes. The property is about 10-15 min from city center, but well...

"Recomendo para estadias de uma noite. Apesar de o hotel ter nos oferecido um upgrade sem cobrar nada por isso, o quarto tinha uma mobilia velha e vinha muito barulho dos quartos vizinhos. As toalhas do banheiro apesar de parecerem vindo da lavanderia tinham algumas machas que davam aspecto de sujas, o cafe da manha diz que é até 10am, mas cheguei lá 9:30 e não tinha nenhuma proteína (ovo, salsicha), quando fui perguntar ne recepção disseram que tinha acabado."
