To everyone reading the reviews, please listen to them and do not stay at this location. I have stayed with this chain before at other locations and never had a bad experience. However, this will be the last time as our experience was terrible and the customer service was awful. We arrived late, our room reeked of smoke, the a/c was barely hanging in the window (there were bugs that were crawling through the cracks), the floor was sticky and there was garbage under the bed. Upon trying to switch rooms, we were told they were overbooked. The lady working the evening shift promised us a refund, however, the next day management declined this request and said there was nothing they could do. After going back and forth, I was told to call the motel 6 customer service line and also speak with Expedia. After talking with multiple motel 6 reps, I was told I would receive a $25 gift certificate after being treated poorly by a rep whom laughed in my face about my experience. Honestly I have never come across such unprofessional employees, both at the motel location and by customer service staff. It has been over a month and I am still waiting for this $25 dollar gift certificate. I would not recommend this location to anyone, the rooms were not up to standards and the staff deliver empty promises and are rude.
As a side note, the Expedia staff were amazing to talk to and helped despite the manager at motel 6 stating I shouldnāt book through Expedia because itās a āscam.ā
