"A small but wonderful cottage on the outskirts of town. Quiet and rural, we wanted a place to relax without traffic or noise. There are sheep and cows in the area, chickens, some cute bunnies and pheasants running around. The owners are wonderful people who helped us throughout our stay. "This listing is more then just a tad misleading... It says pet friendly, but no secure area for the dogs or any shelter. Leaving about 1sqm for the pets inside when it rains. The use of space in a tiny home is probably the worst ive seen. A big bed with ZERO use of wall space for storage. No toilet scrubber for the toilet is one of the finer details they are missing here. "We had 3 generations under one roof, amazing house with outstanding well cared for garden's and then the amazing views. Beds were incredible, the best beds we have slept on at book a bach. Washing machine and dryer were excellent. David was great, and met us onsite when we arrived, and provided great communication through out the start to finish process. "Stayed over for 2 nights here, while attending a large family and community event re my brother who died in April. We were very comfortable here, and the cottage is very attractive, obviously historic. It was super-well equipped with everything you'd need. Easy access from the road, close to the Kohukohu village, and a clear view across the harbour in front. Thankyou for having us, we'd come again if the need or opportunity arose. "
