Spend your vacation at Hale Kalena which means "House of rest" in Hawaiian. Kanaloa at Kona 701 by Gather is a 1,700 sq. ft. two-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation rental with garden views and is the ideal place to experience the beauty of Hawaii.

Beautifully furnished in a tropical theme with air conditioning throughout, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom property comfortably accommodates up to four people. Enjoy cooking a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, which features a breakfast bar with seating for three. Accommodate additional guests with the dining table, which has seating for four. The gorgeous primary bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed and has a private lanai that overlooks the golf course. The spacious primary bathroom features dual sinks and vanities. The guest bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed and an additional bathroom. Free Wifi is also included.

You'll love the extensive list of outdoor amenities at Kanaloa at Kona 701. In addition to 1,600 acres of tropical landscaping overlooking Keauhou Bay, this property has golf course views, two resurfaced tennis courts, and three sparkling ocean-facing swimming pools for your maximum enjoyment. This condominium is situated on the fairway of the Kona Country Club and just a short walk from the renowned Sam Choy restaurant. Kanaloa at Kona 701 has everything you desire for your dream Hawaiian vacation stay.
About a mile down the shoreline you will find Kahalu'u State Beach Park, famous for its abundance of Hawaiian Sea Turtles.

People and cruise ships watch from the Kailua-Kona Pier, where you'll have access to Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, and dolphin and whale watching. Visit the famous farmers market. Enjoy shaved ice or a cup of Kona coffee. Dine on a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim, or hang out at the beach. The pier is the official starting and finishing point of the Ironman World Championship (held annually in October) and a great place to watch the sunset. Very comfortable and well equipped
We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s about 15 minutes south of Kona proper. There is a grocery store right around the corner, which was super convenient. The condo is stocked with all kinds of cookware, Tupperware, and cooking appliances. We made many of our meals and had everything we needed. The balcony is a beautiful spot to have coffee and enjoy the sounds of the birds. The kids really enjoyed the grass area where they could run around and also loved the pools. Great spot and highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s in a nice community with pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and ocean views! It was close to many of the things we wanted to do. The property itself was nice and clean and well stocked. I would recommend staying here.

Like home away from home
The condo was great. Sure the furniture looks like it’s out of the 80’s but it’s comfortable. What we really loved was that the home was stocked. There was snorkel gear, chairs, and a nice kitchen with all the pots/pans/utensils you would need. The condo is really like a home away from home. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Overall from start to finish, this was a great experience. My family and I (3 year old and infant) had a great time. The property was stocked with plenty of beach amenities - chairs, toys, umbrella and towels. The condo property has 3 pools to use along with grills available at each of them for cooking out. Great location to head to the south end of the island and the Kona area. This property specifically overlooks the Kona Country Club and has a great grassy area for the kids to play ball in the morning or evening. 10/10 would stay here again!

Everything was just perfect about this condo. It was the best supplied condo that we have rented, and we travel a lot and rent condos. The condo is well appointed and super clean. Great stay!
Our family of 4 stayed for a week and had a positive experience. Emails from the property management kept us in the loop. The condo was clean and spacious. There are plenty of towels and linens. The beds and pillows were nice. One of my sons slept on the pullout couch in the living room and enjoyed his own space. Parking in a reserved carport was nearby. Grocery shopping a restaurants are also just up the street. We hosted dinner for 8 one night and we all fit on the dining room table. AC and fans worked great. We loved the authentic decor. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this condo. We will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay!
